The Felletin farmers market is open in the small town square on Friday mornings, only. You cannot…read moremiss it, since the square and several surrounding streets are then closed to accommodate the various merchants.
Nice selection of fruits and vegetables, cheeses, meats, etc. from various local farmers and sellers. They set up small stands or drive their "store window" flatbed trucks directly into the square. I've found some unusual dried sausages and local cheeses. Prices can be a little higher than local supermarkets, but I think that's the price one pays for freshness and local production.
The market is also quite the social event, as much for neighbors to meet as for buying local produce.
