I couldn't have made a better choice than Erin Nicole Photo . I came across Erin's work as I was looking for a photographer that had a moodier vibe , which is more difficult to find in the Reno/Tahoe area than I initially realized . She branded herself beautifully + what caught my attention was the fact that she seemed to favor the raw + unconventional moments more than the standard wedding photos you see . We decided to hire Erin for our engagement party, to see what she really has to offer + how she is to work with as she was newer to the professional photography business. Erin is not only one of the sweetest vendors I've ever encountered but she is very attentive of what you want + are looking for out of her pictures . Our engagement party AND our intimate engagement pictures turned out better than I was ever hoping , which was exciting because she has an incredible amount of potential + we got to be a part of her success + growth to the top ! Being an artist myself , I always want to give the people I hire creative freedom + guide them only with inspiration rather than specifics. Erin is very good at feeling out your style + delivering incredibly special photos that you could have only dreamed of . I couldn't wait to work with her for our wedding day - Our wedding took place in an industrial style venue + later at night (6pm) so I was interested to see how Erin would handle it being that it is slightly off-brand for her.. she did phenomenally in our opinion . However , something even more phenomenal about Erin is; if she isn't completely satisfied or feels that there wasn't enough time for the absolute best of her work , she will reach out to you for a post-wedding session and dedicate an entire day to get THE absolute best shots she can . We did this , as our wedding coordinator rushed erin during our intimate photos + this post-wedding session turned out to be such a beautiful experience for my husband + I . We had time to really be our raw , authentic selves + it really shows through in her pictures ! I also was happy to see Erin enjoy this process as much as we did + have her do something a little out of her comfort zone + see her absolutely kill it . I couldn't have asked for a better photographer + Erin will always be our go-to for any of our photography needs . -Thank you Erin. I had Erin do my engagement photos and my wedding pictures and she was so awesome and easy going to work with. Her style has a really cool classic look to it and she has a truly unique way of editing photos. Our shoots were so fun, we laughed pretty much the whole time. She was extremely timely with her responses to me and professional the whole way through. To me, she is so far above the rest and so talented AND she doesn't break the bank. My wedding pictures turned out phenomenal, like something that came out of a magazine. She's super easy to talk to and get a hold of and I would 10/10 recommend her and have recommended her to many friends! My only advice is if you want to book her do it in advance because she is in high demand. I suspect her bad review comes from a person who is potentially difficult, because I had zero problems with her, and only a great experience!! read more

Terrible!!! I would never recommend her. The first impression was great and she sold me but after that it was nothing but problems. When i would ask about certain pictures or show examples, I would get excuses. I told her pictures were one of the most important parts of the wedding to me and she completely lacked in that area. I was not happy with our wedding photo's and instead of making it better attempting to redo a few give me some quality pictures she refused. I have 1 photo that I absolutely love and that is it. I had 2 photographers and the other was amazing. I had hoped to get the same quality with Erin's style from her. But that was far from what I received. I even asked about certain types of photos and she said only for additional $$$. She told me a couple of weeks before my wedding that I should find someone else and eat the $1500 down payment I had already paid her. She would just stand around while the other photographer was taking shots. She did not take any of my husband and his groomsmen getting ready. Tons of pictures that could have been taken were not and she even left early. When she said she would stay even for the after party at the bar down the street. I know she was not feeling well but she did not even attempt to make it up. Don't get the wrong there were a few others that i liked but to only love one, was heart breaking. I was heart broken when i got the results from her. I was even more upset that she would not even attempt to recreate some of our moments even if it had to be a different location since that was a privately rented location. Than goodness my heart told me to get another photographer before me wedding. For the price I paid and to only get 650 pictures it's was insane. Oh and really only like 325 because the other 325 were duplicates just in black and white. read more

Erin has been so accommodating to my fiancé and I through the pandemic. We are traveling from NJ to the Reno/Tahoe area later this year for our elopement and we love her style. We were supposed to fly in in June and meet with her for our engagement shoot, but given the insanity that's happening in our area, we had to move our trip. Erin was so sweet and understanding! This is a big deal to me, as I work in the service industry and I know that it's not easy to have to reschedule clients when they're your direct source of income. I am so happy with our decision to go with Erin. Her work speaks for itself alone, but she is also a great person: everything you want in a wedding photographer. read more

I contacted Erin Edge operating under Erin Nicole Photo on social media at the end of May of 2017 about scheduling a portrait session with my daughter before she left to spend the summer with her dad. We communicated mostly through Instagram since that was how I had discovered her work and where I initially contacted her. While I was a tad nervous because she was newer to photography, I liked her style and decided to give her a shot. We scheduled for a week later. The shoot seemed to go great, in person Erin was extremely sweet and we exchanged plenty of friendly conversation through out our shoot. I had paid her for the photo shoot, paid extra for a flash drive of the images and additionally tipped her extra cash for her services. Within the next few days she emailed me some of the images and I was bummed when there really wasn't one single image I was in love with. While they weren't terrible, having owned my own successful photography business in the past, I tend to notice little things like uneven cropping, off placement positioning, etc. And while there may have been a good picture of my daughter here, one of me there, there wasn't one super great image of the both of us combined. It definitely would have been nice if Erin was more aware during the shoot and offered a little more instruction from what she was viewing through her lens for a little bit better outcome. Regardless, I thought getting the images on the flash drive and viewing them a little better quality might be different. So we made plans to meet so I could snag the flash drive from her but that fell through. As we entered summer we talked back and forth a few times about trying to pick up the flash drive, it just never seemed to happen (due to a busy summer on both our parts). Finally at the end of August, I just asked Erin to mail me the drive and provided my correct address. She said she would mail it out that day (she is in Reno and I am in Carson, mail never takes longer than 2 days). September 6, no drive, I contact Erin asking about it, no response. September 15th, another message on instagram asking if she could let me know what was up, the message was marked as "seen" yet no response. I ended up texting Erin, stating that I wasn't sure what I had done to be the bad guy here, I just wanted to receive the product I paid for. She apologized and stated I didn't do anything wrong, that she had tried to send out the drive but apparently wrote the wrong address down and it had been returned. I again provided my correct address and she promised to mail it out that day. October 20, 2017 an entire month later still no flash drive so I messaged her again. Message marked as seen. The next day again, still just asking her if she could please let me know what was up, and again message seen and no reply. I gave her a few days and she continued to post new shoots online and reply to people's comments, but still no responses to my inquiries about the product I had already paid for five months prior. I finally called Erin and when she answered I asked her to please just send out the pictures I had paid for. She apologized for taking so long and again promised she would mail it out the next day. I told her I didn't understand why this had become so difficult and that despite her talent, this was the most frustrating and ridiculous situation I've ever had to deal with for any "professional" services. Still, fingers crossed hoped I would receive the flash drive by the end of the week. Well the next morning, I woke up to find Erin had blocked me on Instagram (thank you Erin, very mature) and it's now November 2nd and I have not received the drive. I have little hope that it will actually show up. I truly am baffled as to why Erin Edge has acted as if I'm being a bother when one, I have literally received no responses to my inquiries, and two, I PAID FOR THIS AND AM NOT RECEIVING WHAT I PAID FOR. She truly was so nice during our shoot, I have no idea why it became such a hassle to respond to me or mail me my product. I hate to leave people bad reviews, especially someone I actually thought was nice but after this ordeal I would NEVER recommend Erin Edge or Erin Nicole Photography to anyone. She is a friend of a friend and she scheduled to do our pictures last minute for us, we were in the midst of figuring out how to send our payment, mind you her contract doesn't state how to send it, when she gave away our spot to another couple (with me being due in 2 weeks) and said she wasn't available till July. I contacted Erin after seeing her work she did for a close friend of mine. She is located in Reno, NV. I am in Las Vegas (you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a talented and reasonable wedding photographer in Vegas). We were getting married in Zion, UT I wasn't sure if she would want to make the trip but I loved her work and had to at least reach out to her. She was so responsive and so enthusiastic about shooting our wedding. Her pricing blew me away she is incredibly reasonable and her work is off the charts!
