There are fancy stores, there are $2, and there are the useful stores like Target and Big W. The food court seemed a little lacklustre, filled with mostly fast food, and not many interesting options. Skip it all together and head to Dobinson's instead on the ground floor. There's paid parking, but at least it's fairly cheap. At the end of the day it's a shopping centre, and in Australia they usually don't get too excited. It's not as sterile and intimidating as some fancier shopping centres, and you could definitely do a lot worse.

A bit annoyed. So on Tuesday I ring them and ask what time they are closing as I explained that I was a bit annoyed at rushing and the store being unattended. The shop attendant tells me that they will be staying open until 4.30 today; but when I arrive at 4.15, well you can guess the rest. Why would I bother a third time?
