The service here is incredibly friendly, and the lady spoke English. You will find their great selection of dog food downstairs, and upstairs is a large collection of collars, cat food, dog toys, and treats. Even though small, this place is stocked full and very clean. I was also warmly greeted by the owners two beautiful dogs. I could tell that this place was owned by people who love animals. I found some great food for my dog, and the lady working there explained that they had two other locations in Geneva and an online shop, and gave me their fidelity (loyalty) punch card. The selection of plush squeakies for small dogs wasn't very large, but I found one that fit the bill: a Shaun the Sheep pig. (We didn't watch the show/movie, but the pig was cute and I imagine not the sort of thing easily found in the US, so I went with it.) They had a really nice variety of harnesses and collars, and a lot of pet food options. Overall it seemed like a great pet store.

The food selection is minimal, and is not consistent. Each time I go, I have to try and find a different food for my dog, as the previous brand is no longer sold. Most likely it is because I try and get the most organic food for my dog, and they only ever have 1 close option. They carry all the basic necessity staples, and actually have a decent selection of healthy/organic dog treats that I have seen so far. The shop only ever has one person working the store, and sometimes they speak English, but have always been friendly. There are also other pet items here, not just items for Dogs and Cats. If you intend to come here regularly be sure to get the loyalty (fidelite) punch card that is good for a year, and gets you 10 CHF off your next purchase if you complete all the punches.

Her fees are extremely reasonable and well worth it. Only through her help and knowledge have we gotten through this past year. Our puppy is now a teen-ager and everyone we know remarks how well behaved and quiet he is. We continue to learn from Teaming Up the basic obedience, advanced training, clicker training and trick dogging. She makes if fun for him and makes it fun for us too!

I wasn't hopeful,…read moreIspra is small and I had only seen the sign for this place from the main road which pointed down a not-so-inviting side street. When we pulled up I was pleasantly surprised by size but also the warm welcome. What animal lover can resist two plump happy dogs trotting up to great them? Once inside it was like Santa's grotto. Shelves packed full of every pet product you could imagine. They also seemed to sell rabbits and outside I caught a glimpse of a bank of bird enclosures - I'm not sure if they were for sale though. To save ourselves the hunt we asked for some help and were kindly treated by the gentleman that served us. He made sure the air line we also purchased fit the pump before selling it to us and happily wrote us a receipt (so we could claim it back from work) even if that was a little harder for us to explain in Italian. I could have spent ages here but unfortunately we had to get back to the office so I didn't browse the products too much. Although I did spot they had a whole shelf full of tortoise food, a breadth of selection I'm not used to seeing even in major pet stores back home. When we came to leave our four legged friends also came to see us of. A little gem in the middle of nowhere and I'm sure you'll find your pet needs met here.
