Had a nice meal here tonight! The prices are very reasonable and portion sizes for the pasta are…read morequite big. The two of us shared an appetizers and each had a pasta. I liked my linguini with cherry tomatoes, Parmesan, and pepper. Wish it was more spicy! My friend had mixed feelings about her ziti with ragu, I think it was too heavy for her. She seemed to like fried anchovies appetizer, anchovies just aren't for me. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and service is pretty good. Overall a pretty good meal in Napoli

Holy meatballs! Best meatballs I've ever had...so much so that I wanted to get 2 or 3 orders to go…read more Not sure when I was going to eat it but I wanted them even after I ate to a gluttonous satisfaction. For appetizer we got the eggplant and meatballs. I'm not a big eggplant gal and I was obsessed with the eggplant. After my husband took a few bites I practically stole the dish and ate it all to myself. As already mentioned the pork meatballs in the fresh red sauce were absolutely delicious. It's light and each serving comes with 5 balls. Unlike other restaurants we've eaten at (so far in Italy), this was one of the first restaurants that provided bread for free. For the main dish my husband got the carbonara. Delicious but very creamy and buttery. He loved it! I definitely enjoyed my bite. Personally do not think I would have been able to eat the whole dish on my own. I got the Genovese pasta. Very yummy. The base is caramelized onion with short rib beef. Had a bit of a sweeter taste to it (bc of the onions) but I really enjoyed it. We did not have room for dessert but my husband did get the cafe (expreso) which he most definitely enjoyed. Service was good. The food was excellent! (Husband kept making comments that he would fly back for the food here bc he was that content). Would highly recommend this spot! Ps: menus here are in Italian only. PSS: try to make reservations. Seating here does seem to go by fast.

Thanks to yelp, for helping me find this gem in Naples…read more We were using our GPS to walk to this restaurant. When it lead us to a dark, corner street, I was skeptical to keep walking. I saw an arrow sign on the side of an alley wall, and a small banner which had the name of the restaurant. So we kept walking towards the alley and finally saw the place on the left side at the end of that alley. We were greeted and seated right away at the dining area downstairs. I loved the interiors and the overall look of the restaurant. All the staff members were friendly, polite, and efficient. We tried: OCTOPUS- The octopus was cooked perfectly in a very tasty sauce. O'Rrau- The meat was so tender, the ziti was cooked al dente, and the ragu was fragrant and flavorful. CANNELE A GGENUVESA- The meat was very tender, the candele was cooked al dente, and the broth was excellent. LEMON CAKE- It was fluffy, light, and deliciously tangy. If you have any doubt on whether to keep walking into that small alley or turn around, just go. You will not regret it. The restaurant was beautiful, charming, and clean. The service was great. Most importantly, the food was fantastic. Grazie mille!
