I bought a Groupon for a 30-minute corporate headshot package. I have never taken headshot photos before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Erwin was very friendly and took photos of me for about 20-minutes, then reviewed the photos with me for the remaining time. Throughout the shoot, Erwin let me view the images to see what I liked or what I wanted to change. He provided feedback but let me control how to smile and how to move my head- he did not come over and try to tilt my head in a weird angle like the school photographers used to. I wasn't super excited about the photos when I reviewed them in the studio, so I opted to look at them from home. My advice is to definitely look at the photos at home with a fresh pair of eyes! Get feedback from friends too if possible. Within the 20 minutes, he took over 80 photos. He uploaded them right away to an online gallery, so I could easily compare photos side by side to narrow them down. Then, he had my photo ready and edited that same day. I am so happy with the final product. Thank you for giving me tons of options to pick from. The editing is also beautifully done- flyaway hairs, skin imperfections, etc. It looks professional and not overly photoshopped. The photo was also already cropped for LinkedIn, allowing for it to be quickly uploaded. read more

We booked Erwin for a family photo shoot when we were in NYC last fall. I was leery about booking a photographer online without meeting ahead of time but he exceeded our expectations. He kept in communication with us leading up to the shoot. Once we arrived to meet him for the outdoor shoot, he definitely made the most of his and our time and got lots of great images to choose from. I did my maternity shoot with Erwin after buying a groupon. I was very impressed with his professionalism during the shoot, prompt response with proofs and quality of photos. I'm really happy I went to him for my pictures. I had sent him some examples of headshots before the shoot and he was able to create exactly what I wanted. I needed some professional headshots and found a really good deal on Groupon. The deal was only for weekdays, which I missed when purchasing the Groupon, but Erwin was really accommodating and worked with my crazy schedule until we found a weekday time that worked for both of us. The shoot was supposed to be a half hour but his next appointment was running late and he gave me some additional time. I brought a few different tops and we had enough time to take photos in all of them, which I appreciated. He took a ton of photos so there were a lot of options to choose from and I even had the link with the previews in my email box before I even left his studio! Erwin is amazing! We have worked together twice, doing dance action shots. That is not easy. On top of trying to capture a good facial expression, we also had to capture great dance moves. Total success! There where so many good ones I couldn't decide which was the best. He is creative with lighting and setting and great at timing his shots with my movements. Erwin is fabulous! I showed up at his studio and immediately announced that I hated my photograph being taken and wanted this over and done with as soon as possible. He was completely unfazed by my less than positive attitude and made me feel extremely comfortable as soon as I walked in. I needed photos for my website and had already been to two other photographers and was so unhappy with the work both times. Erwin was my last chance and at that point I was beginning to lose hope. Not only was he so much less expensive than the other photographers but I really appreciated how much time he gave me, how kind and patient he was and how comfortable he made me feel in front of the camera. I was made to feel he had all the time in the world and that he genuinely wanted me to be delighted with my pictures.
