I needed a professional headshot for work. But where to do that on the North Fork? Voila! Erwin List was super easy to work with, did a terrific job, and was a good value. Can't recommend him more highly. read more

I bought a Groupon for a 30-minute corporate headshot package. I have never taken headshot photos before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Erwin was very friendly and took photos of me for about 20-minutes, then reviewed the photos with me for the remaining time. Throughout the shoot, Erwin let me view the images to see what I liked or what I wanted to change. He provided feedback but let me control how to smile and how to move my head- he did not come over and try to tilt my head in a weird angle like the school photographers used to. I wasn't super excited about the photos when I reviewed them in the studio, so I opted to look at them from home. My advice is to definitely look at the photos at home with a fresh pair of eyes! Get feedback from friends too if possible. Within the 20 minutes, he took over 80 photos. He uploaded them right away to an online gallery, so I could easily compare photos side by side to narrow them down. Then, he had my photo ready and edited that same day. I am so happy with the final product. Thank you for giving me tons of options to pick from. The editing is also beautifully done- flyaway hairs, skin imperfections, etc. It looks professional and not overly photoshopped. The photo was also already cropped for LinkedIn, allowing for it to be quickly uploaded. read more

We booked Erwin for a family photo shoot when we were in NYC last fall. I was leery about booking a photographer online without meeting ahead of time but he exceeded our expectations. He kept in communication with us leading up to the shoot. Once we arrived to meet him for the outdoor shoot, he definitely made the most of his and our time and got lots of great images to choose from. He was also very understanding and flexible with our cranky and cold 4 year old daughter. We will definitely be booking another shoot with him when we are back in the city! read more

I needed a proper headshot for LinkedIn and I found his Groupon for an outdoor corporate photoshoot. He did a great job providing me several options with different backgrounds. I had no idea what I was doing- I've never used a professional photographer before- but he was super patient and it ended up being surprisingly fun. Highly recommend. read more

My photo session with Erwin was fantastic. I was late because it was pouring outside, but Erwin made me feel at ease and let me take my time. He was also extremely quick to edit my photos and even did a specific adjustment that I asked for. Highly recommend for any corporate photo needs. read more

I did my maternity shoot with Erwin after buying a groupon. I was very impressed with his professionalism during the shoot, prompt response with proofs and quality of photos. I'm really happy I went to him for my pictures. I was initially less than thrilled about doing a maternity shoot as I'm not naturally photogenic, but I still wanted to capture some memories of my pregnancy. It was completely worth it. The pictures were tasteful and made me look great. I'm so happy I went! read more

Erwin is an amazing photographer who was able to capture the head shot that I wanted in less 5 minutes time! He insisted on taking several more pictures to give me many options to choose from. I was in and out of the session with an edited photo in less than 30 minutes time. I contacted Erwin the day before our shoot and he responded within the hour. In less than 24 hours later, I left a more than satisfied client who will return and can't recommend enough. Erwin is personable, professional, courteous and efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Erwin was absolutely great. I needed some headshots for my professional profile - and Erwin really spent time getting the perfect pictures that I wanted. He was patient, kind, and professional. I had sent him some examples of headshots before the shoot and he was able to create exactly what I wanted. He absolutely DID NOT rush me for time - instead, he took his time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Further, it was clear to me that he had been doing this for a while and knew what he was doing - he was able to adjust the lighting perfectly to ensure that I was getting the best pictures possible. I would most certainly recommend him. 5 stars!! read more

I needed some professional headshots and found a really good deal on Groupon. The deal was only for weekdays, which I missed when purchasing the Groupon, but Erwin was really accommodating and worked with my crazy schedule until we found a weekday time that worked for both of us. The shoot was supposed to be a half hour but his next appointment was running late and he gave me some additional time. I brought a few different tops and we had enough time to take photos in all of them, which I appreciated. He took a ton of photos so there were a lot of options to choose from and I even had the link with the previews in my email box before I even left his studio! I was pleased with the final photo I ended up selecting and the price was definitely right. I highly recommend heading over here if you need a professional headshot for business purposes. read more

I had some great photos taken of myself and my daughter. Studio is in a convenient location. Photographer was patient and able to get several very cute shots of my 1 1/2 year old daughter. He also did nice retouching and got the pictures to us very quickly. read more

Erwin is AMAZING! I needed to get a few headshots done and was running under a tight deadline. I searched online and found Erwin. Not only did he meet my deadline (of one day), but he was kind, efficient, and made me feel comfortable. I absolutely love my photos -- from lighting, to touch ups...he did a great job. I'll be back soon to set up my next shoot! read more

Erwin is amazing! We have worked together twice, doing dance action shots. That is not easy. On top of trying to capture a good facial expression, we also had to capture great dance moves. Total success! There where so many good ones I couldn't decide which was the best. He is creative with lighting and setting and great at timing his shots with my movements. He seriously made me look good! (Oh, and he's really sweet) read more

Erwin is fabulous! I showed up at his studio and immediately announced that I hated my photograph being taken and wanted this over and done with as soon as possible. He was completely unfazed by my less than positive attitude and made me feel extremely comfortable as soon as I walked in. I needed photos for my website and had already been to two other photographers and was so unhappy with the work both times. Erwin was my last chance and at that point I was beginning to lose hope. Not only was he so much less expensive than the other photographers but I really appreciated how much time he gave me, how kind and patient he was and how comfortable he made me feel in front of the camera. I was made to feel he had all the time in the world and that he genuinely wanted me to be delighted with my pictures. By the end of the session I was actually very relaxed and relieved that I had pictures I loved. I have been recommending to friend and colleagues ever since! read more
