We walked in at 12:30 to an empty restaurant - restaurant personnel were having a pre-service meal and only two people were working.
A gentleman gestured for us to take a seat and we sat inside, next to a stunning view. He delighted us by opening the folding doors next to our table and letting in a beautiful breeze. It was magical...
But you know it was too lovely to last. When our waitress learned we were only having wine and coffee, she gestured to the outdoor patio and said "Inside is for food."
We went outside to lovely patio, also with a stunning view (see picture), and had our beverages. It was a really terrific experience and I highly recommend the restaurant even though I've never had the food. Their Ses Nines white was nice and the view - inside or outside - wonderful.
Upon departure, however, things went a little sideways. After bringing our beverages, our waitress never once checked on us, so I had to approach the bartender for our check. Once we received the check, I attempted to pay the 15 euros with a card, but was asked for cash. There's no way they don't take cards. This, combined with being asked to move outside when the restaurant was empty, accounts for the less than five star review that the view deserves. read more
