As we took our seats around the massive wooden table Alix introduced herself and gave us our Menus for the meal we would be cooking. The menus included full cooking guide lines and ingredients. Alix made the cookery lesson feel very relaxed. Whilst listening to her explain and demonstrate how we would be making our main course we where treated to mini pancake with salmon and cream cheese and a glass of wine! We spent 2 hours making Moroccan chicken and chocolate brownies from start to finish, the evening was so much fun. We finished off by having a lovely meal and drinks (BYO) and chatting around the table!!

I thought this was a great idea, there is nothing worse than going to a class to learn something you would never cook at home upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of wine, for the remainder of the event we consumed our BYO drinks. The recipes were surprisingly easy to make which meant the atmosphere was very casual and relaxed.... We were put into pairs and worked on our masterpieces, at the end, we were all able to enjoy what we had created as part of a sit down meal. Would definitely recommend this to others as a group activity, we were a group of 11, I wouldn't recommend a group much bigger than that.

The tour part was not really too fun for us but the cocktail making class was a 10/10. Our mixologist specialist André was the best ever. He was very knowledgeable and dealt with our group of rowdy individuals with professionalism. We made a whiskey sour (the best I have ever had), an old fashioned, and a version of an Irish coffee which was also the best ever! If you do a later tour, be sure to visit the shop beforehand because it'll be closed afterwards so that was a bit of a disappointment. I highly recommend the cocktail making class for sure! Thanks for the fun time and good drinks!

He taught us so much about the history of whiskey, where it originated, and how it's made today. We chose the classic tasting, which included three different whiskeys to sample. One of the most interesting things we learned was how adding just a drop of water can completely change the chemistry and flavor profile of whiskey. The tastings were all very distinct: **Skellig** (my personal favorite) - sweet, rich, and warm with a woodsy aroma and smooth flavor. **Fercullen Falls** (my husband's favorite) - smoky and peppery with a slightly sweet scent, followed by a spicy, woodsy flavor and a light vanilla finish. **Ardara** (not my favorite) - heavily peated and smoky. To me, it smelled like burnt rubber and old tires, with a bitter flavor and strong burnt aftertaste that lingered. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and a great way to learn more about Irish whiskey in a fun and approachable setting. Highly recommend for both whiskey lovers and beginners alike!

Written by my daughter Sienna: On a particularly lazy day…read moreduring our trip to Dublin, we decided on a whim to book an escape room time at Escape Dublin, which was within walking distance of where we were staying. This was our first escape room as a family, and we came in with no real expectations, as well as a complete lack of experience. From the first moment we entered, our game coordinator, Sarah, was friendly, accommodating, and flexible, and even allowed us the choice between the room we had booked and another that was also open. We ended up picking Witchcraft and Wizardry, instantly folding ourselves into the world of enchantments, potions, secret passageways and clever clues. Despite our slow start as we adjusted to the new environment, we quickly began to uncover the hidden messages, reading between the lines and working closely with one another to eventually finish, with little time to spare. It was our first completed escape room, and we had the most exhilarating, hectic, and absolutely awesome experience. We are definitely coming back with our newfound puzzle-solving skills gathered from the first room, and it created so many exciting memories for our family. We implore anyone else that happens to find themselves in Dublin to visit this delightful place, which is excellent for those who want to exercise their wits and strengthen bonds while having an absolute blast with family or friends.

You get about 2 hours to explore a nice stretch of the Liffey (from Capel Street Bridge to the Samuel Beckett Bridge). Someone from the company is always at hand (they cruise around on a motor boat) if you need any help, but you're left up to your own devices, so you can enjoy the views, get a bit of a workout, float for a while, take some great pics and even interact with people on the bridges. Great fun! Highly recommended. The price is more than fair (€25 pp), the staff was responsive, friendly and knowledgeable, and the process (from booking to kayaking) was a breeze .

You see snippets of views you've never seen before, framed in ways that make you rethink entirely particular areas around the river. You are also more likely to look up a lot which give you this most amazing view of the tops of the buildings that line the Liffey - they are old and grand and beautiful, unlike many of the shopfronts down on the ground floor, and this realisation alone was worth the trip for. On a practical level, the equipment is all top notch, the location is perfectly central, the price is decent, and the guide was just the most positive guy, bursting with enthusiasm, and a pleasure to be around. We did the evening kayak which is an hour and a half long - just about a perfect length. For me personally, I was over the rowing a little before this...!! But that's due to my short attention span and slightly overzealous tide! Highly recommended.

The cliffs were very very busy so not enough time to do it all and eat and go to the toilet. We walked half and opted to eat. The bathroom lines are very long, no fault of the tour. Our guide and driver were professional and mostly kind. We learned a lot about Irish history from Aaron and felt safe being driven by Stipe. I would have liked to know more about some of the specific things/places we saw as we saw them while driving in the country (I.e. ruins, stone walls, interesting mountains, the beaches, or the little walls) but in return learned so much about Ireland and its rich history. Aron and Stipe were a very well rounded pair. Thank you!

We had Michael driving and Aaron as our guide, and that combo absolutely made the day. Michael somehow got us everywhere in record time without it ever feeling rushed, which meant we had more time at each stop. On a 12-hour day, that matters. Huge credit to him for making the logistics feel effortless. Aaron was the real glue of the experience. He actually knew what he was talking about and didn't just recite facts -- he added personality, humor, and context that made everything stick. When you're spending that long together on a bus, the vibe is everything, and he nailed it. We lucked out with amazing weather at the Cliffs -- cold, but crystal clear visibility. We hit both viewing areas (even with restoration work going on), and it still felt expansive and worth every second. Pictures don't do it justice. Galway was a blast. We had about two hours in the city center, which was enough to explore, grab food, and soak up the energy -- though honestly, I could've stayed all day. The recommendations we got were spot on. The pacing was great, the bus was as comfortable as it realistically can be for a full-day tour, and it never felt chaotic or disorganized. I would 100% recommend this to first-time visitors to Ireland and honestly even to people coming back who want a seamless, well-run way to see the west coast without thinking about logistics. Michael and Aaron -- absolute pros.
