Just so everyone know it has to be 48 hours!!! Not a happy customer, and when I called to talk about this they took no exceptions, didn't care about how I had been a customer of theirs and were fine with the fact that I would take my service elsewhere!

I had a private room with deep wooden tub to soak in for 25 minutes. They provided a cold face cloth, ice lemon water and hot tea to sip on. The rep knocked on my door to alert me to get ready for the salt cave. I took a quick shower to rinse off (towels provided) and got dressed. I put on slippers (they provide) and grabbed a blanket and headed into the healing salt cave that was 65 degrees. I relaxed in the zero gravity chair/recliner, wrapped in the blanket, listened to relaxing music and the sound of water. What a great experience this was. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back here.

She is a genuinely a delicate, yet grounded spirit. - There were lockboxes to tuck your things away in and you are given the key, so you don't have to stress about your belongings. You are given a big, soft blanket to cover yourself with and a towel is placed on the head of the reclining seat for hygienic purposes. - The room was small and clean, but comforting. The salt grains on the floor are about the size of a dime. The walls are covered in salt and there's lights behind several salt art pieces. There's a small TV that I didn't use, but I assume it would play nature scenes. There was also quiet, rhythmic music playing in the background. With the start of your session the ceiling lights temporarily turn on and the salt machine starts releasing the particles. It creates a quiet hum like a ceiling fan in summer that lulls you to sleep. For the first half of the 45 minute treatment I took a nap, and for the second half I laid down the blanket and did some much-needed stretches on the floor. - I had just been on bed-rest for the past 3 weeks due to recovery from a very intense procedure, and I could feel phlegm backing up in my throat as a result of a 24/7 horizontal position. It was giving me a minor cough and shortness of breath when exercising. I could physically feel the difference during the experience of my airways opening up and I am finally able to take full breaths again! We had an extremely difficult time booking an appointment. It took about a month of calling before we finally got someone on the phone. We booked the "Couples Prestige Pedicure" which is advertised as taking 70 minutes. My fiancé's pedicure was 45 minutes and mine was just under an hour. Overall, my pedicure was very minimal--very little callous/dry skin removal. She applied exfoliating scrub, but just quickly and gently pushed it around before washing it off so it was pointless. An hour after my pedicure, I checked my heels and they were still dry/cracked. My fiancé's pedicurist did a better job--she is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. After tax, the total for the two pedicures was $215. They did not allow us to use our gift card to tip, even though we had just the right amount left on it, which seems ridiculous. The store shouldn't require you to supplement with your own cash when you've received a gift! Even if you can afford a $100+ pedicure, I don't know why you would choose to get it done here. Your run-of-the-mill strip mall nail salon will do a much better job with better results for 1/3 of the price.

After being greeted, I changed my shoes for a pair of sandals and changed into a bathrobe. Then, I soaked my feet in lavender scented warm water with rose petals, while sitting on comfy pillowed seats. They checked to make sure the temperature was right. Alas, after a few minutes, my massage therapist greeted me and guided me to a private, candle lit room for my massage. My goodness, the massage was heaven! I've been there twice, and every since, I've become highly opinionated about how my massages should feel like. It's truly hard to find good masseuses, and The Waters hires the best. Upon leaving, I also completed an anonymous survey. They take their customers' feedback very seriously. During my second visit, I noticed they implemented my suggestion. I haven't found a spa as great as this one - truly, you are getting what you pay for. I've been to cheaper spas, and it's not the same experience. Too bad it's so far away from me :(

Located just a few minutes from Stratford, we made the drive over and found a huge Victorian home transformed into a five star restaurant. PH offers indoor and outdoor seating. The grounds are coupled with loads tea lights, beautiful flowers and jazz standards filling the air. We were met by our friendly server, Kara, who gave us a great table on the large wrap around porch. She walked us through the menu and was spot on with all her information and recommendations. She was hard working and attentive without being intrusive or bothersome. Kara became part of the experience. The food was something to behold. First, each dish was a visual work of art. The skill and passion of the chef's are on full display whether you order the Braised Ribs or the Fried Chicken Sandwich. Those were the entrees we chose with Kara's help and we couldn't have been more delighted. Everything was prepared to perfection. The ingredients were fresh and no detail was overlooked or dismissed. In fact, my wife and I agree that the fried chicken sandwich may have been the best fried chicken sandwich we had ever eaten. The breading was light and spiced and the glaze that was drizzled on top was the clincher. The homemade chips and dip were the perfect side along with the sweet pickles. The Braised ribs were delicious and the assortment of grilled and puréed veggies not only made a beautiful plate, but a magnificent bite. Finally, no birthday celebration is complete without desert. We ordered the crème brûlée flavored with maple and pecans. It was cooked perfectly and was a perfect end to a perfect meal. Lord oh lord. This is Christmas. This is as good as it gets! After attending my client Christmas party, I was left alone to further my own party. For a Toronto boy, the scenary that I had in my field of vision was "A Wonderful Life." A fully restored and renovated home on the downtown New Hamburg road has many surprises. It is a Bed and Breakfast hotel with impeccable food, wine, and other fine spirits. They have a spa next door and a beautiful banquet hall to the back of the property. Nick Cressman is the manager and the Cressman family have taken to hospitality with small town flair. I've had the pleasure of staying here a couple of times and dining a few more times. I would stay here more often, but as I have to pay for my stays and not expensed to my client, it has to be on special occasions. For those of you who would be staying in Kitchener, Waterloo, or even Stratord - this would be a great stop for you. It is smack in the middle. - 20mins to Kitchener or Stratford. Puddicombe's menu is very well put together for their restaurant. Fine linens, comfortable chairs, and small inviting rooms combined with excellent service makes for a very fine dining experience. When choosing a room in the winter, see if you can upgrade to one with a fireplace. This will avoid the fan noises from the heat exchanger - if you are a light sleeper. Rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, cable tv and high speed internet (which at times were a bit problematic). Only if I can get them to increase the shower water pressure, we can bump up the review a few more enthusiastic notches. As I wind down my client engagement in this small and very pretty town, I will still endeavour to find my way back here once in a while. Cue the Christmas tunes again... Cheers!
