In the Spring of 2023, I contracted Northern Star Contractor Services to pour a 28' X 12' X 6"…read moreconcrete slab using 4000 psi cement, reinforced with fiberglass and a 12" X 12" grid of rebar. I wet-cured the patio for two weeks after it was poured to increase its hardness. After it began to cure, the top two millimeters began to delaminate. I have videos of it coming loose under the water from a garden hose but could only post stills here. Before writing this review, I tried to resolve this with Northern Star but was told that the delamination was my fault for wet-curing the slab. I consulted with two concrete businesses and was told that wet-curing should have made it better, not worse. After this, I had to spend another $1,400.00 to have top two millimeters removed. It was an improvement but still what I paid for. I can not recommend the services of this company for concrete work. The company that did the surface grinding told me that they didn't think that 4000 psi concrete was used in the first place.
