It's a small shop with all kinds of cute, affordable beauty regimens in appealing packaging. Although it's called The Face Shop, they do have a limited selection of products for the rest of your body such as shampoo, body wash, lotions, hand creams, nail polish etc - they even have men's stuff. I'm very happy that they sell facial foam cleansers, unlike regular face washes, these produce a thick lather that traps away dirt and oil and leave you feeling squeeky clean. They were developed for hot humid Asian climates and I always had a hard time finding them in this part of the world until now. I've been using their "Herb Day Cleasing Foam" in Acerola (cherry) scent for over a week now, I love the fragrance and texture although it'll probably be a little too drying if you don't wear moisturizer in winter months. At 5$ for a big 170ml tube, this is a steal! For such a small store, I felt like they were overstaffed the day I went - I was approached 4 times in the span of 5 minutes, it can be a little overbearing when you just want to browse on your own. As a medical professional, make sure you get the correct measurements for contacts so you don't scratch your eye! The store is piled with boxes like crazy so it's best just to chat with the owners about what you need and he will navigate the maze and find it for you. This is a family run business operated by an uncle and nephew and they really know their product, super worth a visit if you're into this stuff for personal fun and want to save some money, or if you're a stylist starting out and keeping your costs low. They obviously don't stock every brand and when it comes to the product that works best for you they may not have what you need, it seemed like they focused more on the less expensive versions of popular product, but a lot of the time that is going to be exactly what you need without the markup for hype, so personally I was really excited to finally open my eyes and realize that this gem was in front of me all along.
