I love this place. I love it so much me n the wifey celebrated our 10 year anniversary here. Just like a successful marriage, consistency is the key. And that's why Espetus is so special. Because they are so consistent in both providing fantastic service and beautifully cooked meats. This place has heart, specifically delicious chicken hearts! If you are a meat lover welcome to Heaven. Just writing this review makes me want to go back already. Don't forget to save room for the grilled pineapple!

Such a great find for a fancy night out! The ambiance here is dark and romantic, perfect for date night or a special dinner. The service was honestly the best we've ever had at any steakhouse: attentive, friendly, and always ready to bring exactly what we wanted. The meat selection is fantastic, and what really stood out was how thick and generous the cuts were. Our favorite cuts of the night were the top sirloin, filet mignon, and flap steak, as all were cooked beautifully and full of flavor. If you don't see a particular cut going by or want more of something you loved, you can just ask because the servers are more than happy to bring it out! For dessert, please get the Crème de Papaya! It was honestly to die for, it was rich, creamy, and the perfect finish to a meat-centric feast! Overall, amazing service, great meat, and a really lovely atmosphere. Definitely a spot we'll be back to especially when we're craving a steak night that feels special.

Awesome selections of Brazilian BBQ items, all the servers were super friendly when they came to our table with large skewers of the yummy fire-roasted meats. We were a relatively large group and they made sure everyone was taken care of. There were chicken hearts, chicken wings, sausages, pineapple, pork belly, sirloin, and filet. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The salad bar also had a good selection of items. The cocktails we tried were all pretty tasty too. Will definitely come back in the future.

Si, por favor let me take some home!!! Jk. I get it. You have to pace yourself and arrive famished! At around $75 per person, it's no joke. Over the years, I'd say I have become skilled at the art of ayce Brazilian steakhouses. Only saving my stomach capacity for the meat lover's gold like the top sirloin, beef ribs, filet mignon, chicken hearts, lamb leg, pork belly, and other favorites like grilled shrimp, grilled pineapple, hot peppers/chilis, cheesebread, and fried banana. I also like grabbing palette cleansers from the bar like cheese, pickles, olives, etc. to keep things balanced. Pro tip: The salad bar is a trap! Try whatever piques your curiosity but trust me--grab only small portions. You're paying premium for the meat! Heads up: There's a cake fee and the corkage fee is hefty. Service is fast and friendly, and most nights you'll feel like it's everyone's birthday (in the best way). I definitely prefer this location over the SF location, a beautiful, romantic spot to wine, dine, and go full carnivore with your hungry date. 8)

I've visited Espetus Brazilian Steakhouse many times, and it's always been very consistent. The cuts are flavorful and well-prepared every visit. I especially love the grilled pineapple and chicken hearts -- they're must-haves for me every time. Compared to the San Francisco location, this one is easier for parking and feels more convenient overall. Solid Brazilian BBQ experience every time.

I came here with my family in Christmas Eve (did not want to cook!), we had a reservation, and it was packed, for obvious reasons! The place looked lovely and festive, and the food and service were out of this world! We got a table that was close to the buffet and kitchen, which was perfect! My teenage kids absolutely loves everything and we all ate way more than we needed to! Even though the meats are the star of the show, don't neglect the fabulous buffet of the grilled pineapple. This is definitely a special occasion place, but we'll be back for sure. We even saved room for dessert, which was fantastic.

I have been here multiple times. It is a bit expensive, but it is very festive and delicious. We went there ok a Saturday lunch. It costs $75 per person and our two years old ate for free. They bring beef, lamb, chicken and pork stakes on the tables and you would have the option to pick anything you want from the salad bar. They have fish and pasta options in the bar as well. We have been there few times, and we will go there more too.

We stopped by on a Wednesday night for an impromptu dinner for three, and luckily there was no wait. While waiting for the meat servers to reach our table, we helped ourselves to the buffet, which had a wide variety of options. I leaned more toward salads than starches to balance out the rich meats (and to avoid getting too full!). We sampled every meat option available, and you can even request specific cuts from the servers--they'll send them out in rotation. My favorite was the picanha (sirloin steak): well seasoned, juicy, and perfectly medium rare. It stood out among the other cuts, some of which were a tad dry. What really sets Espetus apart from other Brazilian steakhouses I've tried is the distinct smoky flavor from their charcoal grills. It adds a depth to the meat that no other place I've tried has. Espestus is a great spot for a celebration or even just a nice dinner out. Now that I know my favorites, I'm definitely looking forward to coming back!

But 20 minutes in, the Chef came in gracefully to share that he can't cook it, and he will bring it now, and if we slice it and don't like it, he can then cook the slices. Me and my son thought that we should be able to eat it, even if it was a bit on the rare side, and we did. It wasn't the perfect situation for us, which is the 3 stars, but it wasn't bad. Moral of the story, if you like your tomahawk cooked in one piece, this is not the place for you. It's such a great spot to enjoy good food, great vibes, and even conversations with the staff. We ordered the Avenue Cut and the San Mateo Prime Rib Cut, both with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach on the side. SO good and super filling. The last time we came, we were with a big party, but this visit was just the two of us and it was still amazing. The owner, Shaw, and his staff are always so kind, welcoming, and friendly. When we walked in, the restaurant was pretty busy with large parties, but Shaw kept reassuring us that our food was coming and continued checking in to make sure we were doing okay. That level of hospitality really stands out. I also ordered the margarita and let me tell you... the bartender does not play around with the pours. Definitely not complaining because it was delicious. I also love the horseradish sauce they serve on the side. It's the perfect complement to the prime rib and helps cut through the richness so the meal doesn't feel too heavy. This has honestly become one of our go-to spots for prime rib. Service is very attentive and very friendly, no points deducted. Their bar island drinks aren't the best so minus points. They can't make an espresso martini and my friends old fashioned seemed like it was more of a mixed drink made with seltzer? It was good but def not an old fashioned. There wasn't a dedicated bartender, the host made the drinks. To be clear, the prime rib was very good. I think it was really tasty and really tender. I finished my 16oz! The sides are where they are lacking. The salad tasted a little too sweet, the popover was a little too eggy, the creamed corn wasn't creamy enough. The free bread in the beginning was very good tho lol and they kept it coming! If you're craving prime rib last minute I'd say San Mateo prime will die just to scratch the itch.

The steak itself was pretty good, but I didn't know it was going to come smothered in some sauce. When I order a $63 steak, I tend to NOT want any sauce on it. The sauce was okay, but I would have preferred it came with sauce on the side. The creamed spinach is, I am sure, not very good when it is hot. It is downright nasty when it is served cold. And the creamed corn? Meh. I think creamed corn and creamed spinach used to be popular in the 70s. Time for this place to rethink their game. I will NOT be back here.
