Visited Espresso House after my husband and I drove to Vaasa from Parkano only to find out a ton of stuff was closed on a Tuesday??? This place is at the bottom of a small shopping center near the market square near the Statue of Liberty. There is tons of seating outside but inside, there are multiple couches along the wall of windows so that many people can get a comfortable spot to have their drinks. There were quite a few people on laptops working at large tables also in the coffee shop. I was able to order in English and was glad to see that they served an iced mocha in a large, American-sized 20 oz. cup. My husband had a drip coffee - something he missed when we were in Spain during Christmas and could only get Americanos. Flavor was great, staff was quick and the price was totally reasonable. Bathrooms were single stall and clean. They did have sandwiches and baked goods as well but we didn't get any. Visited: May 2026 read more
