All of the door/window transmitters and motion detectors are clearly labeled so that you can install them in the right location, so it was basically idiot proof. I needed that! I could not get over the quality of the system or how easy it is to use. If I can do it, anyone can! The control center sits upright on a desk mount stand and all I had to do was to plug it in. Then I downloaded the app for my phone that can also control the system. I can disarm the system from my phone or from the upright control panel. I choose to get notified via email after every action when I "arm" or "disarm": the system, so I have a built in record. Perfect Connections was very responsive when I had a couple of questions. The best part is that a professional and experienced company vetted all of the equipment options for me, so I didn't have to research or guess, then make the wrong choice.
