I put the seat on lay by on a saturday to reserve the seat until my installation appointment (they'll fit the seat in your car for $39, mon-friday). I had a $10 coupon for spending $100 or more which I was told I could redeem when paying the rest of the amount owed on the day of my installation. I'm taking stars away for the service I recieved when I came back. Mary was my sales person at the till who told me I couldn't use my coupon because I had already paid some money for the lay by. Does this make sense? She then ran my card for the remaining $150 that I owed and told me that I needed to purchase a $22 extender for the car as I have a hatchback. So I asked her why I couldn't use my coupon as the purchase was way over $100 and also, she hadn't charged me for the $22 extender or $39 installation fee. She seemed very scattered and not very good at customer service. The manager came over and told her to put the coupon towards the extender and installation fee. Why didn't she run everything through together? So now I have Mary with the bit of attitude and two transactions on my card. Anyway, the installer was very pleasant and installed the seat and showed me how to use it. All in all, Mary isn't my favourite but as this is the closest Baby Bunting to me, I'd most likely go back if I needed something.

I came here twice to try on dresses as I was told this was as good as it gets. I'm from Canada, marrying my Aussie boy in Hawaii this year, so they let me Skype my bridesmaids back home to help me choose my dress. (No photos are allowed, but Skype was). The lady that helped me was Joy, and she pulled dresses as I requested them and even suggested ones that would suit my body type. Believe it or not, I chose a dress that Joy suggested (it didn't look like much on the hanger, but when I put it on, I knew it was the one). In the end I came back and signed a contract to pay 6 equal payments. You have 4 fittings, one where they measure you, one where you see the outline all pinned, one where you see your dress in the material you've chosen and the final fitting where you take home your dress. The dress is absolutely stunning and designed exactly for me! :)

But OMG how I loved this place. The gowns are seriously to die for; before stepping in here I had never had much interest in a white dress, but now I think I get the whole Princess Wedding thing. The dresses are all handmade and the staff are extremely helpful, as you would expect in a store at this price point. As well as dresses there are accessories and an "off the rack" section of last season's and discounted dresses. This place is super pricey but I know I'll be back when I'm actually in the market for a wedding dress, if only for inspiration.

It stocks your typical junky store items like stickers, toys, Tupperware items, birthday cards and wrapping paper. My favourite item was a coin purse made out of a tiny sock. It was only $3 and really cute. I also found a pretty random Scooby Doo Whoopy Cushion. I left it behind because it's really not a good idea for me to own one of those... my friends would kill me! The customer service here is friendly enough. The staff member stayed behind the counter while I browsed and he greeted me with a smile when I first walked in. The prices are really low and the items to be found are more original than most similar variety shops. It's worth a visit for some cheap knick-knacks.

They do have their uses in part, and some of them are trying to create a bit of a main street feel, but unfortunately it tends to fail more often than not. As for this one, well, I have to admit that it is pretty fancy, though like a lot of them it is easy to get pretty lost inside as well. I liked it, and they do have a number of good coffee shops as well, so I'll certainly give it marks for that.

This shopping mall is a mix of chain stores from high street to designer fashion stores, home wares and electronics. Home to department stores Myer and David Jones, Village Cinema, Big W , Target, Safeway and Coles and countless food outlets. If your after high end designers then Chadstone is your best bet but for designers such as Alannah Hill and Max Mara then Doncaster is a more manageable option.This centre looks bigger then it feels so if your up for a shopping marathon you may feel let down by the size. But for my shopping and entertainment needs Doncaster is fantastic! The new personal shopper suite is perfect for individuals and groups who need a little fashion help, which may be useful in the upcoming party season! While not my speed I can totally appreciate its merits. The main obstacle to shopping bliss is car parking during peak periods, especially December and weekends its every car for itself. To ad insult to injury parking will cost you if you spend more then three hours in the centre. To remedy this you can pay $10 for valet parking and have your car sheltered for you. Doncaster Westfield is my pick for shopping in the Northeastern suburbs.

Knox shopping center is a great little center in my opinion…read more It's nothing in the likes and glam of Chadstone or Doncaster, but for a suburban shopping center it's not too bad. It offers most popular brands including; Country Road, Witchery, The Body Shop, Rebel Sport, Roger David, Taro Cash, General Pants Co and much much more. Aside from fashion, there is also a Myer department store, Target, Kmart, electrical stores and home ware stores. There are also a few large stores just outside of the shopping center (Kathmandu, JB HiFi, Goodguys and more). Knox shopping center also have a fresh veg and fruit market right in the middle of the center, this is extremely convenient as most of the time I am just passing by, and it allows me to just pick up something small without having to 'grocery' shopping. The food court here is also very large, with ample seating and variety of foods. If food courts aren't your thing, Knox City also offer a plethora of cafes and restaurants just outside the center.

This pharmacy is the closest to Fairfield Train station which is a godsend when your feeling poorly, an extra three minute walk sometimes feels like it May Actually Kill You. Its not pharmacutical nivana by any means. But it has what you need if you have a cold, flu or any other common yet annoying ailment. It has baby formula, nappies, condoms and all manner of things that fall into the "i need it right now" category. It also has those medicinal jelly beans that you can only find at pharmacies. Those are reason alone to visit on the way home!

They service one of the most delicious ice creams you can buy in a box; that and a copy of Harper's Bazaar at an already elegant locale and your set for a sunny and great day ahead. Fast service, and just has everything that you need except for those Metcards which would be a good idea; buy hey your arriving and leaving in the Crown elegance. For quicker service it is better to pay cash, and if your feeling lucky you could pick up a scratchie, and if this is the case you need to pay for the non-scratchie items first and then the scratchies separately; maybe because of the different registers. It is great to also see a news agency open on a Saturday night. Although it can get quite crowded for those last minute amenities, and patrons at the Casino can also buy some Crown souvenirs if they wish. Also if you need a Crown directory you can usually also grab one here at their own news agency.
