Went To Chinatown Today. Wondered And Found A Few Kawaii Shops. They Were Either Too Expensive, Or Didn't Have A Good Selection. This Place Was Exactly What I Wanted! The Prices Were AWESOME! Plus, It's Actually Larger Than The Other Stores I Went To! The Store Had Much To Offer. They Have Some Plants, Home Decor, Toys, Candy, Pens, Kawaii Coin Pouches, And Much More! And To Add To That, The Prices Were Great! I Got 12 Kawaii Pens $20! For I'm DEFINITELY Going To Be Buying Again! I Love This Store!

Poor selection of cheap items. No hello kitty seen, as previous reviews posted. Skip this, go to HIT

MUJI's name in Japanese, translates as "no-brand quality goods." The brand mark and the brand name, which are well-recognized by designers, convey a certain image to people beyond factors such as the functionality, quality or value of the product itself. Mujirushi Ryohin was created in Japan in 1980 with the development of 40 products in the areas of apparel, household goods and food--which, as the name indicates, had no brand but were good-quality products. I thought the prices were not bad and the quality was good. My niece bought some writing instruments, which she loves.

After a day of walking around, I knew I had to find a scarf or some type of net gator. We stopped in multiple shops along Newberry Street with no luck. I had not been in MUJI before and was so impressed with the layout, the organization, and the selection. We found the much needed net gator, which was priced fairly and so warm! While the store was crowded, the flow worked well and they had a number of people running the cash register so the line went really quick. Would definitely go back and visit again.
