We sat down in a booth; and ordered our fish and chips. My Dad had plaice and I had cod. We waited about 10 minutes and everything was piping hot. I don't know what they put into the batter but it was delcious and crispy, the chips were just as good too. The prices were very reasonable the plaice and chips (as of today) were £6.95 and my medium cod and chips were £7.99. Not including drinks. I believe the prices are cheaper to take away. They do have a range of fish and chips, not only the cod and chips that everyone seems to have. They also sell rock, cod roe, skate and haddock....Along with the old favourites of saveloy, pies (of various types), chicken and sausage rolls. There's room for about 30 people to sit and eat in the restaurant, but they do supply a take away menu too. I'm posting some pictures of the inside, our food and the menu for poeple to take a look. So in my opinion this is some of the best fish and chips around, and has been voted the best in the country!
