It's neighboured by a Dymon storage facility and a giant church, and it's on one of the most busy intersection corners in the South-West of Ottawa, off roads that could certainly use some attention (so bumpy getting in and out). Once you are in the lot, I must admit, this location was planned a lot more efficiently than many others. The lot is large making it easier to navigate (and avoid other drivers) and even thought there is a lot going on in that area, once you are in, it's quite smooth sailing. Again, be careful getting back out on to the roads - there are a lot of merge lanes in this area, which means there are quite a few drivers rushing to beat the line before the lane ends so they are driving a little faster than they potentially should be.

Anyone working in a service station should know that any vehicle should be moving while turning the wheels. Otherwise, it's hard on the power steering pump, the entire steering system, as well as the transaxles. The attendant who drove my car out of the bay when I went to pick it up is either ignorant of this fact or trying to drum up more unnecessary repairs. Either way, he shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel of any customer vehicle. Never again.

This is always my go-to spot for gas. The prices are always reasonable (*especially* for being so…read moreclose to downtown!), and this station, for whatever reason, easily accepts my U.S. credit card at the pump, without me having to go inside and wait in line for the cashier (Petro-Canada, I'm looking at you!). It's also right off the freeway, so it's not a hassle and I don't ever feel like I'm going out of my way to find the cheap gas. Other than that, it's pretty much your standard gas station!
