We rang…read moreJunction 26 early morning to say we would be travelling an hour and a half to visit there garage as we had seen a car that they had for sale using an ebay selling page, we spoke to an assistant who really seemed like he couldnt be bothered who said the car was in excellent condition, came with a years warranty, a full mot and was 6 months taxed. Sounded good and as described so we made the journey.........on arrival no one was to be seen for 15 minutes and so we found the car and checked it over, it was a mess, there was chipped paint all over and was missing door trims! Not at all how the pictures were presented. Further to that, there was no tax, there was 2 months remaining mot and the warranty was not included. He said the car would not be sorted out and ready to sell for another 4 days. What a waste of time they are.

Within 2 days I came across 2 issues, these being the heater/cooler fans not working, and also an issue with the central locking on one of the back doors. After 2 calls of me chasing them up I took the car in to be checked on site. Was told to come back the following day and see the gentleman who dealt with my sale. A week later they had booked it into a repair centre near to their site. On the evening prior to my repair date I phone the garage to check their opening times to be told J26 prestige cards had their account on stop.... and that no repairs would therefore be carried out on my car. 2 more visits to J26 I was told to being my car back to their site the following week. This I did. They had my car for a week and after lots of chasing them all week, I was told 7 days later nothing had been done to my car and they had lost my spare set of keys. I took my car home and was told to bring it back the following week. I did and the 48 hour repair turned into 3 weeks!!!!! I did get a loan car after the first week but this was unfit to drive, a massive dint on the side and warning lights glowing on the dashboard once I started up the car. Its now mid Oct, I have my car back and it is fixed but I still dont have a replacement key for the one they lost. Their staff openly agree they have lost my key but the owener refuses to pay. DO NOT BUY from here, they are underhand, lie cosntantly and have no idea of customer service in the slightest. Worst experience in my life.

A Mr John Woodcock a Sales Executive at Chesterfield Peugeot quoted me the cheapest all in, up front price for a Peugeot 3008 Allure 1.6 EGC Diesel Automatic, I placed my order there and then. The delivery was slightly longer than I first thought, but was not the fault of Bristol Street Motors as I did not order a standard model, it had extras and therefor was a factory order, and Peugeot shut down for a month during August in France. I think it is unfair to quote the price, but I can assure you the discount was substantial and well worth my trip to chesterfield. All the staff are pleasant and polite, from Andy the General Manager down to the service department, a very professional organization. Would, I recommend them, yes, If you are looking for a fair deal and quality service, look no further as Bristol Street Motors are the company for you. You won't be disappointed. And the Car, WOW, what a car, I can highly recommend this model, it's got all the kit and more. It's like a jet fighter, with HUD (colour display.) neat. with satnav input. wicked.
