Dr. Pappas is a first-rate podiatrist; an intelligent person and very friendly. I recommend her with enthusiasm.

I love this hospital. I'm not from the New Haven county but this is where I would go for my follow…read moreup appointment appointments in regards of a surgical procedure I recently went through. The Care quality of Yale is top-notch without disclosing much of my personal reasoning, after my operation, the nurses and Care team went above and beyond for their patients. I worked with a specific doctor and I've been working with him about over a year counting with the post office operation which makes it 2 years. I asked my doctor If today marks the last time I'll see him and he gave me a really big hug stating that this is not a goodbye. This is a see you later and he is always available in case if I need him for any future purposes, but I feel confident that he did a great job and I will be able to move forward confidently. Thank you Yale New Haven for everything

They had, however, done an ultrasound to determine this. Two weeks later I called to see where my refund was. I was told it could take 45 days for insurance - given that they did do the ultrasound portion, I did not mention that had the original doctor made the same determination from the original ultrasound, I wouldn't have been there. 45 days later, I call. Yup, I do have a credit balance that would go back to my credit card. A week later, I still don't have it. They had to have my money up front - now they have had my money for 2.5 months. Not acceptable.

The office staff and Dr. Solomon explained every step and orally as well as written instructions were provided. I highly recommend this practice.

He was still heavily medicated and tripped and stumbled his way out. I had to find a wheel chair on my own from the Yale office to get my sedated child safely to the car. Against my better judgement we took our youngest there too. I fully recognize that even using best practices there can be unwanted outcomes. When I expressed my concerns first to the nurse than the doctor that my child was reporting pain and was pounding on the arm rest to get them to stop or to acknowledge them and he was shushed and told to stop moving. Certainly there are limits to medication dosages and sometimes pain can happen. That is not the problem. Its the hubris and arrogance coupled with the gaslighting from staff. The reluctance to admit a complications. That is the problem. The doctor was better about it and had a reasonable explanation for every concern though was not apologetic/sympathetic that there were compications. The nurse was the real offender. Starting by saying my child was just being emotional. Minimizing this child's concerns and acting almost put out by my asking questions respectfully. Coastal has a nursing problem.
