    Dionysius Cocktail
    Lisa S.

I dined at Estia on Sunday and it was exceptional! Our reservation time was 5:30 PM. We probably didn't need one, but I made one just in case as we're nearing the holidays. I was celebrating my birthday a few days early. There was plenty of parking available. The hosts at the front desk and our waitress/wait staff were all very, very kind. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone here. The interior is decorated beautifully. The restaurant provides complimentary hummus with sliced bread or pita bread. We chose the pita bread. The hummus was delightful. Super creamy and flavorful. I ordered the Dionysius cocktail which was quite refreshing and light. I was in the mood for a carbonated drink and this was perfect. The Estia Chips are a MUST, especially if you're a zucchini and eggplant fan. These little half moons were fried to perfection and come with a side of tzatziki. I was sad when we finished them. Their tuna is cooked rare (it's reflected on the menu as such) but oh so yummy. I was expecting a steak, but instead, squared pieces of tuna wrapped around sautéed spinach were served to me. Highly suggest this! One thing about me is I always leave room for dessert, and I was with my fiancé who loves cheesecake so we asked for that. The pistachio crust was excellent. I had never tasted anything like this before. It was my first time having Greek food, but it definitely won't be my last!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Estia Taverna for mainline restaurant week. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and I loved the ambience. Our server was very kind and attentive, and told us everything we needed to know about the restaurant week menu and the daily specials. For appetizers, we ordered the octopus and mussels, and for our main dishes we ordered the branzino and lamb chops. Everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the mussels and the lamb chops. And if you're in the mood for dessert, I highly recommend getting the korma. 10/10 can't wait to go back!

Excellent, authentic Greek food. I was in Greece last Spring. The moussaka and spanakopita and calamari appetizers were excellent! The lamb shank, lamb chops and roast chicken were all delicious. Very nice ambiance and excellent service. We tried two desserts - cheesecake with pistachio crust and salted caramel baklava. Delicious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Estia Taverna. We relied on the help of the Estia team member Mikayla- she was spot on guiding us through the wines, appetizers and mains - her knowledge and attentive help made the evening extra special. We tried the fava, hummus, salmon tartare, and shrimp saganaki appetizers - the shrimp was just as good as when we had it in Greece; the salmon tartare was excellent and the fava and hummus were very good. For mains we had the barbounia (light, tasty fish) and the tsipoura (very large and delicious serving). We shared the Greek yogurt with honey and almonds as dessert and it was delightful. Service throughout was attentive, thoughtful and knowledgable.

We went here for an early dinner and the staff were so friendly. Our active infant was with us and they were so welcoming and supportive trying to accommodate us as much as possible. The food was also tasty. The halibut was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth, accompanied by some grilled vegetables. I wasn't a fan of the sauce but I also don't like olives so I should've read that better. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his mixed seafood. I tried his calamari which was good and not chewy. I also tried the honey walnut cake. It tasted ok at the restaurant but to took most of it home and heated it up the next day and it was lovely. The service, cleanliness and fresh taste of the food would bring me back here.

I love Greek food and was very happy with Estia! We only went for Happy Hour but it was fabulous and I can't wait to go back for dinner. The inside is beautiful with a large bar and two separate dining rooms as well as outdoor seating in the warm months. All of the employees were extremely friendly and attentive. Our waiter was so helpful answering a bunch of questions from our whole group. The HH snacks are good and reasonably priced. 3 spread dip- pita is so tender and great charred flavor. Tzatziki is fresh and creamy with a slight zest Htipti- smoky and tart. Gritty Melitzanosalata- spicy, roasted red pepper. Creamy Hummus- bland. Greasy with no garlic and very little flavor overall. Cheese Saganki- crispy and creamy. Gooey inside and flames flavor crisp on outside. Calamari- perfect crispy and tender. Slight spice in the dip. They have a thin breading so it wasn't too much breading.

I really like Estia! It's beautifully decorated, moody yet comfortable. Service is also on point. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. My friend and I split the grilled shrimp (large and tender), Dover sole (flaky, sweet, and beautifully cooked), spanakorizo (spinach rice which was a great accompaniment). My only one negative comment is that my Tito's French martini, while tasty, was $18. A bit excessive.

Dinner at Estia was amazing. Our server, Erica, was a wonderful server and provided exceptional service and feedback on dishes. The food we had was very very good.

Great service and happy hour specials. The octopus is delicious and the jumbo African prawns are a treat.

It's been a while since I've dined here because they stopped serving lunch following the pandemic. Last night two friends and I met for dinner, and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had here! I had made a reservation for 5:30pm. We all arrived early and they were happy to seat us early. They were starting to get busy (by the time we left the place was completely packed!). Our server, Mirabel (?), was wonderful -- very friendly, attentive, and accurate. Since it was the others' first time, I insisted they try the Estia Chips, which are a crowd favorite. Indeed, it was better than I'd remembered; in fact, one of the gentlemen in our party said it was "the best zucchini he's ever had." The house bread and hummus were also delicious; their hummus is one of the best. I opted for the Avgolemono (soup) and Dolmades as my meal -- both of which I've had on multiple prior occasions. Portions and temperatures were perfect and the flavor was out of this world! We all enjoyed glasses of wine (rose for me). No dessert as we were all pretty full. I am so happy I had a chance to come back and will continue to recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. My friends were highly impressed and said it was worth every penny!

My husband and I have been here several times in the past few months. We always have a great experience and the food is consistently flavorful and cooked perfectly. This is a perfect place for a date night and Estia has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Will definitely keep coming back!

Food quality was excellent, although the gnocchi did not seem goat-ish. I especially liked the steak house - essentially a creatively deconstructed steak, potatoes, and wedge salad meal. Evidently they have only been reopened for two weeks, and at least based on our experience, they weren't prepared. We were one of the first tables in the restaurant at 5:15, but didn't get our appetizer until 630, then our actual entrées until almost 715. In the meantime, the restaurant filled up and other tables that sat well after us were receiving their meals and even their checks before we even got our food. The cauliflower appetizer was exceptional, but the entrées were not good. The Java pork chop, which used to be the Java pork loin, was very overcooked, and dry. The wife's crabcakes were also overcooked and bland. Other tables around us were also upset at the wait and a few of them were given incorrect entrées. Our waiter Alex was awesome, but could only do so much. The remodel is nice, but it's gonna take a few more weeks at least for the kinks to get smoothed out. I'm still gonna return, just because of the Goodwill they have accumulated over the last couple of decades. I think they'll get back to their rightful spot.

Our server Angela greeted us right away. She introduced herself and asked if we were celebrating. She was very sweet and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We then had Casoncelli a veal stuffed pasta with golden raisins, amaretti and parmigiana as well as Siscillian Meatballs (3) served in escarole broda, crumble pine nuts and parmigiana. We had no room but still got dessert! The pistachio cream cake with cherry jubilee and a beautiful flor de latte ! we also had the espresso ice cream cake with toffee and salted caramel. I can not put into words how delicious and beautiful everything was! it was art on a plate. We wanted to compliment the chef and he came out to thank us!!! What a talented and nice man. The experience was a little bizarre. Their website says "Rosalie doesn't allow reservations for 1,…read moreplease just walk in". I walked in, as directed, just for a very flustered man at the front of the house to fumble with his system for a good 10 mins. Telling me there was a table, then taking it back and saying there were no tables for the night, then saying nevermind and making me a reservation for two (which I would have done if not discouraged by the website) for half an hour later. At this point I already had a very bad taste in my mouth from the level of chaos. I waited outside for my table. When I got to my table I will say my server was very nice until a strange comment came up at dessert. Once I ordered my dessert, he left and came back with two spoons, saying "I brought two spoons for us." It almost seemed implied he'd join me. I dine a lot alone, voluntarily. Most of the time it's after work and I really don't want, let alone need, company. His comment gave me anxiety as I wondered how I would politely tell this man I wanted to dine alone. When he brought the dessert he did not join me but made sure to say "I'll be back for a few bites." Maybe it was a joke but to me it was very odd and made me pretty uncomfortable. I gave three stars just for the Cacio e Pepe. It was very good. I did (without giving tmi) have a very sick stomach after the meal and the morning after so I wouldn't return just incase that was the cause. Like a said... a weird experience.

From the happy hour menu, the sliders, tuna nachos, and brussels sprouts were all very good -- special kudos to the brussels sprouts, which we went back for a second round of. The food quality and prices were equally uneven. The very small portioned chicken dish (priced the same as the wagyu meatloaf) was dry and flavorless, and seemed as if it had been barely reheated in the microwave. The star of the meal was the meatloaf: perfectly seasoned with the most delicious, moist, and tender texture. But this dish was served with a very strange rubbery bacon covering some asparagus. The potato puree was very well executed, not gummy or over whipped, but silky and delicate. Strangely, the vegetables were also highlights: perfectly crisp grilled asparagus and Brussels sprouts. The most offensive dish of the evening was the dessert in the form of an apple crumb described as "flaky" and "buttery." I am not exaggerating when I say that this tasted like an Ikea cafeteria dessert that had been stuck in the display case for a month. Truly the most abominable, rubbery, dense, dry dessert I've ever had. I'm shocked they had the audacity to serve this. Service was mostly excellent, but we were confused as to why another table had the specials recited to them when we didn't. Perhaps this is decent place for happy hour, but I wouldn't recommend a full meal here.
