Even if you turn your indicator to red they might still come to your table. One waitress brought french fries and fried bananas, they complemented the meats well. I was also surprised how much I liked the hot pineapple they offered. Deserts were extra. My server said they had chocolate cake but what I got was a different consistency than cake I was expecting, it was still very delicious. They opened at 7pm on a Tuesday.

I wasn't feeling super hungry so I opted to do a takeout box (€8) of their buffet food. The selection here was fantastic - many lentil/soy based protein options, a salad bar, rice and bread - really the perfect plant based meal where everything was tasty. My average rating really comes from my experience doing takeout. Maybe it's my American mentality, but when they handed me the takeout tray, I made sure to fill it up with as much food as possible (while not overloading). When I went to pay, the owner(?) scolded me and said it was now impossible to close and that I did not do this properly. I apologized and shared my embarrassment with them, but honestly - it was NOT that bad. I wasn't happy that they made a scene where everyone started staring as I continuously apologized and felt stern judgement. Finally, another staff member took over and closed the box for me and I paid and left. After sharing the photos with friends, nearly everyone concluded that it was not overfilled and definitely me just making the most of my limited space. Besides that experience, I still really appreciate them being available and would come back to do the actual sit down buffet so I can avoid this awkwardness again.

I pulled up this restaurant on Yelp and it was only 2 blocks away from where we were at the time. We walked inside and immediately our host seated our table of seven people very comfortably. They began by bringing us bread fresh out of the oven with fresh tuna and those famous Portuguese olives and ewe cheese followed by delicious appetizers of scallops and blood sausage. Several at the table chose the sea bass entree, some enjoyed one of the several steak offerings but I was eager to try the salmon pasta a la vodka. It was fantastic. For dessert, our host chose to try tastings of several instead of just one of the many choices. It included cheesecake, tiramisu, chocolate mousse, and a delicious lime mousse. They included a chocolate infused brandy for each of us to enjoy as an aperitif. What a great evening. The atmosphere was perfect and so was the food and great service.
