Working with Abby was an absolute pleasure!!…read more I was searching for a photographer while on a roadtrip this summer and was having a hard time finding the right one. My husband and I eloped and wanted to do a simple wedding photo shoot. I was lucky enough to find Abby on yelp and after checking out her website I knew she could take incredible outdoor photos, which was perfect for our shoot at Garden of the Gods. She answered my emails right away and I could tell she was enthusiastic about being our photographer. She made the entire process simple and enjoyable. She was quick to respond, offered extremely fair pricing, and was open to ideas and requests. We loved Abby as soon as we met her, she has great energy and was fun to hang out with. She had creative ideas for backgrounds and poses and the photos turned out better than I ever imagined. She was really fast at getting our pictures back to us too. The day of she had a handful of quick edits that she sent via text and in less than a week I had my full gallery, which I can easily access from her website. I would recommend Abby to anyone looking for a photographer for their special occasion. She's amazing!!!

Abby is a nice person and a real gem of a photographer!…read more This was my first time choosing a photographer, and I feel very lucky to have found her. I wanted to do a family photo session (including our dog Luna) in Garden of the Gods, and it not only was a special and pleasant experience, the photos look amazing! She captured the grand but natural aesthetic that I wanted - I love the photos. She guided me throughout the entire process: provided me with samples in the location; picked out a uniquely perfect spot for the session; prompted us to take natural poses/smiles (we were all really enjoying the session so this was easy); and she was very accommodating to my requests, as I needed to have professional headshots done as well and ready by a certain deadline. I would highly recommend Abby!

My partner and I had won the contest for a free portrait session. Before coming in, we had looked…read moreat these 1 star reviews of people who had also won the contest who felt ripped off and called it a scam. So naturally, we were a little bit apprehensive. But our whole experience was the farthest from that, they laid out very clearly about what was included in our package and were clear about any additional add ons. For those who felt "pressured" or suckered into spending money for a free session, that's your own fault. We did not feel any pressure to buy any additional photos or add ons. Everyone was super friendly from the guy with the curly hair at the front desk, to our photographer l (Arianna, Ariel? Sorry!), to the consultant (Carissa?) who went over our photos with us. For those who won the contest, definitely take advantage of this. If you don't want to spend extra money, then don't, but no need to call this a scam when it was all layed out clearly. Great experience!

Yes, this company 100% misleads people. We were one of the "winners" of a contest. I specifically…read moreasked on the scheduling call if multiple people win, and I was told: "Absolutely not! We picked you because of your story, and we rarely do this". I applaud the hustle, but I don't appreciate the dishonesty. Had they been transparent, we probably would have still gone through with it. I am not sure why they feel the need to lie and say it's a contest. It's silly. Just say you are giving gift cards to drum up business, because that's really what it is. They get lucky as a lot of people purchase at least one upgrade. During the hours we were there, at least 4-5 other "winners" were there. ALL left in a bad mood. It's not really a photo shoot. Think Glamour shots from the 80's. The camera is on a stand, and the employee just moves it around throughout the 25 minute session. I have friends who are professional photographers; we have hired some before, and they do not do a true photo shoot in 25 minutes, nor do they leave the camera on a swivel. Along with all the other 1-star experiences, we were offered photos for thousands of dollars. We interrupted her after she tried showing us the $9k and $6k options and let her know we weren't buying anything like that. We went with the digital option, and now that we have them, we are laughing at the fact that they claim these are worth over $1500 and they gave us a "discount". LOL They are mediocre, at best, but we have something to remind us of this hilarious experience. In conclusion, the 2 stars are for the memory. We will always look back on this and laugh. We went into it knowing it was shady, but we were curious. Yes, we drove an hour each way, but it was an adventure! You can choose to take just the $1000 credit (the other $250 goes to the employees) and get one printed photo you didn't have before. They do try to prey on people's emotions to get you to buy more, but they are not forcing anyone. We got a cute pic with our dog; our parents think it's adorable, and we have a funny story to tell people.
