First, one of the posts on the gates settled in the ground and the gate didn't line up properly. Second, a nor'easter blew out two panels from my fence. Each time, I called Steve and he was back within a couple days to fix it good as new, even though neither incident was really a problem with his construction. And even though the second time was over two years after he installed it. Most fence installers offer the same stuff at about the same price. Your chances of having some kind of problem with your fence are about the same no matter what company you choose. But with Numat at least you know that if you have an issue, Steve will stand by his work and respond to your problem.

I worked with Danny on a scope that addressed the garage floor, the rear concrete deck, the sidewalk, and also provided painting and finishing in the garage. He was very patient while working out the scope and cut back or found much cheaper solutions for parts of the job. As usual, during the work Danny called me every day (how often can you say that about a contractor) to let me know the status or check on decisions. He recommended a more durable screen door replacement and he also replaced an existing light fixture at no charge. We identified some additional drainage problems that contributed to the leakage, and quickly agreed to an expanded scope to cover drain repairs at a reasonable price. His crew were extremely considerate, timely, reliable and knowledgeable. All of his recommendations were solid, and he worked hard to accommodate our budget. Where he couldn't, he was absolutely correct in recommending a slightly more expensive solution to address unexpected conditions and cut back on other parts of the scope. Today we have a watertight garage (which I thought would never be possible) that is clean, painted and useful. We were able to park our car in it, avoiding a major snowstorm, for the first time in ten years. Heavy rainstorms have not produced water inside. Danny is trustworthy and reliable and we are pleased with the work of each member of his team.

In the entire time he took no notes, measurements, etc. We leave with Danny stating that he would be back to us with ideas in a few days. A week later he hasn't called so I email and call. The contractor we hired practically ghosted us at the 9 week point and the countertop dealer terminated his account after a balance had never been paid for our materials. After firing him we found Paul and Ideal Construction who answered our call instantaneously. We explained the situation and he immediately got to work on the remainder of the project and finished it 2 days. After not being able to have a functioning kitchen, and left potentially with no end in sight he knocked out some significant plumbing issues the previous contractor left amiss, appliance installations, Backsplash installation, and some touchups to bring it home.
