They have a special machine in the cellar for this (must be hard for them). They request that you make an appointment, so they can be ready for that. Otherwise if you need something they don't have in the shop, they are happy to order it for you. I had a situation last year when I needed cover for my bike and they were happy to order it. From beautiful prints to machine-sewn posters, from beautiful jewelleries to colourful sofa throws. This is definitely a place to get your last minute Christmas gifts with a quality that is nowhere near last minute. I must admit I'm a bit tired of looking the same old Christmas markets that offer the same stuff all year round, but this place is definitely offering something new to you and at the same time helping these new designers into the market. With the location in Israels Plads, just across Torvehallen, it does definitely not hurt to check out while you're doing your grocery shopping! I totally recommend it.

Color me 100% unimpressed. On the way to Copenhagen from Amsterdam, they lost our luggage. This is…read moreannoying but it happens. The bigger issue came upon our return where they instructed us to put our carry-ons on the scale. We've never been asked to weigh carry-ons before so we were confused. They informed us that the total combined weight of a carry on suitcase and a personal item(backpack, computer bag, purse, etc.) is 12kg per person. Our bags were about that each which left us both with an overweight bag. The cost to get our luggage home, $100 per bag. Imagine being on the other side of the world, being tired and trying to get home and being hit with this out of nowhere. The ticketing agent finally relented but not after thoroughly stressing us out. KLM is terrible and we will actively avoid flying with them. this was a partner flight with Delta and we will be passing our experience on to them since their standards are supposed to prevail on partner flights.
