The latter allowed us to go to the nearby beautiful sandy beach of Zippendorf and shower on our return to the hotel before heading back home. My wife and I went to the beautiful town of Schwerin to watch an open air opera ( Aida) which took place in a gorgeous setting between the magnicient castle, the museum and the opera house. We stayed 2 nights at this hotel which is about 10 minutes drive to the center. The room and bathroom were very clean and functional, we were at ground floor level so we could virtually park our car just in front. The buffet breakfast was great. In fact it was just perfect for the price.

The only downside for me was the artwork on the walls. As an artist, I found the faded images posing as art to be unsettling and gave off a bad vibe. But if you can overlook the questionable décor, everything else about the hotel is spot-on for travelers looking for a safe, clean, and comfortable stay. They also have a really lovely breakfast if you want to eat in hotel.
