I've been coming here for over 20 years ... driving all the way from Charlotte to get my hair done. I have received a perm, highlights, and had my hair styled for my Wedding by my Stylist from European Images. These folks go above and beyond to treat you like family. It kind of reminds me of the movie Steele Magnolias. Everybody chatting and complete strangers jumping into the conversation if they have anything interesting to add. Lol. The owner Steve is a sweetheart. He dutifully watches over his business and has made the necessary building improvements and updating. The salon is always clean and, best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable. I drive one hour from near the Charlotte airport all the way to near Skyway Drive in Monroe to have my hair done here. My Stylist takes a note of each visit so that she can refer back to her notes as to how long it has been since the last treatment or any changes that needed to be made. They also sometimes display and sell products for local folks such as Mary Kay or handmade jellies. They have a separate sitting area if you need to bring your kids or spouse to wait while your services are performed. There is plenty of parking and they'll ask if you'd like a bottle of water while you have your hair done. They use quality products such as Scruples on your hair and some items are also available for purchase. (Scruples High Definition Hair Spray $19).
