It would be zero but you cannot do that. I had my eyebrows waxed and the result was burned eyelids see photo. I went in and asked for a refund and I was told by the manager I was not charged because it was my first visit. I said thank you that was nice. She should have stopped there and said we are sorry this happened to you here is a credit for another free service. But if I'm writing a review you know that didn't happen. The manager says well that happens sometimes with hot wax. Say what? Not my first rodeo or eye wax in this case. I have been going to European Wax Center for two years now and have not had a bad experience till now. I unfortunately got stuck in bad traffic and called to alert them I would be late. I was told that at 7 mins late, I would only be able to get a lesser service and at 10 mins I would have to rebook (based on my GPS I was going to be 11 mins late). I could not book later in the day so I was told that I would be charged the full amount of the service (a fee I get but the full amount!). I find it hard to believe that there are no exceptions to this policy even when someone is late due to things out of their control... and they were being proactive. I asked for one courtesy since I have been a loyal member and was told no. To say the least, I will not be going back here now that they charged me the full amount for a service I never received. read more

I moved around the area in April and decided I'd give this location a try. Every time I come in for an appointment, the ladies at the front desk are always accommodating. Autumn and Michaela are my favorites! They know what they are doing and I always have good conversations and I always walk out feeling good! read more

Love the employees but question the business practice. The service is always exceptional. Last time I was there, I received a service that was less expensive that what I was scheduled for. Upon checking out, I was asked if I just wanted to pay for a service that I had not received. I typically purchase the wax pass, which gives a small discount (buy 9 and get 2 free - or something like that). They were more than willing to charge me for a higher priced item but not willing to refund me the difference. I ended up paying extra. The waxers are great but the business practices are not so hot. read more

I called to see if there were any Waxing spots available and the lady told me that they have one at 10:45 when I was on the phone I told the lady that I will be late because I am coming from off the island she said that is OK and she will see me when I get there. I arrived at the place at 11:05. The lady told me that since I was late, nobody was able to take me. Walking into the building it was empty one customer sitting and waiting to be seen, she just was not accommodating at all and then recommended me to go to another place to get waxed what sense does that make? read more

Love this place! Clean and GREAT service. The girls are so helpful and friendly, place is always so clean and no matter who I go to, get the BEST Brazilians! I've been using European wax for over 5 years now and have never had any issues. Made an appointment at this location and was unable to make it so I called to cancel 2 hours ahead of time. I was told I would be charged the full amount regardless of my circumstances. I've never had this problem at any other location. Will never use this location! read more

I have loved European wax center for a long time, Audra, Sara, and the receptionists are always great. Today I got my wax and when checking out I asked Kimberly, the manager, If they knew when Audra was coming back, she was very short with me and said, "NO. we don't". I then said okay well she is on the app, only reason I asked, then Kimberly got extremely rude with me and said it was none of my business but two other waxers would be out for surgery, I cut her off and said okay well no reason to be rude but run my card for a $10 tip so I can go. She refused to help me until someone else walked in then she ran my card and upon me asking 15 times refused to give me the owners name or information. Then I spoke with some of the other waxers who told me the name of the owner and said that this isn't the first time she has been like this with someone. They explained Audra's schedule With me which was simple and understandable. Kimberly is VERY rude, unprofessional, and should not hold the title of manager if she doesn't know how to speak to PAYING CUSTOMERS. I won't be returning after my wax passes are gone, which I believe is one more visit. read more

When I called to get my money back they said they don't remember me calling and still put me as a no call no show when I in fact did call and the employee told me the manager would refund me money. They also closed my account so therefore I can't get waxes at no European Wax Center read more

This place is the waxing experience I've always wanted but never knew existed. The staff are knowledgeable, kind and extremely helpful. The waxing in and of itself is minimally painful. The receptionist was extremely rude and acted as if I was an inconvenience to her all because I couldn't do a 2:30 or 2:45 appt instead. I have been going to european wax center for years. Moving to Bluffton this past year I thought I would continue to be a guest at this company. The past two times I have had horrible outcomes. The first time I walk out of my appointment to be stared at and judged by the receptionist basically saying my eyebrows are bad, uneven, and " I can totally notice when looking at you" then giving me a disgusted expression. Then today on 6/1 I go in for another eyebrow appointment with a different lady. I walk out with my eyebrows reshaped, uneven, short, and basically bald in the center of them. I walked out and once again the same receptionist is judging me and not speaking to me but I can totally tell she is staring at my eyebrows not saying a word. I feel uncomfortable coming here again. I now have to worry about fixing an; filling in my eyebrows, and having them grow back. I said to clean them up and I walk out crying because they are totally different now and messed up. read more

I've been to European wax center many times before in another city so I was excited when this location opened up so I could head in for my same great wax experience. The wax I got here was terrible! It took over an hour to to get my Brazilian wax (it's never taken more than 30 minutes in the past, even my first wax.) and she left plenty of hair behind. She even let the wax get to hot and stick to my skin at one point. I am not a first time waxer and I'm telling you this was awful. The girls and the front were super pushy about buying one of their wax packages/ buying products ect. Im hoping things will improve as the staff get more training. You can't beat the price for sure and in the past I've been very happy with the product at European wax center.... May try again in a few months. Disappointed! read more

I have gone to European Wax Center at different locations for YEARS and always recommended it to all of my friends and family. This is the first time I have had a terrible experience here (Bluffton, SC location) and I am currently crying in my car. I went in today for a simple eyebrow wax. ONLY an eyebrow wax. I walked in for an eyebrow wax, and when I went back with Charlotta, she asked me what service I was getting for the day. I stated "eyebrows only, please!" After laying down and her smoothing some powder over my eyebrows, she proceeded to WAX MY UPPER LIP without asking me if I wanted it, and without me asking for it in addition to my eyebrows. Fine, okay, if that was all then so be it. She then proceeds to my eyebrows. She ended up shearing off between 1/8-1/4" of my left eyebrow from the center. When asking Erica at the counter to verify that it was in fact sheared, all she said it was "but you can purchase one of our pencils to correct it." I'm sorry, but the fact of the matter is that I just paid $20 to have my eyebrow sheared and an additional $12 for a service I never asked for, why can you not even apologize and try to help, instead of asking me to PAY you additional money to fix YOUR (Charlotta's) mistake. I'm heartbroken, I have a wedding at the end of the week, and the result is so bad that I am in tears. I am so disappointed and saddened that nothing was done to at least try to rectify the situation. I'm not sure exactly what I am hoping for through sharing this, but I guess I am just hoping that it may help others looking to come here in the future. read more
