"Are you so stressed? Do you have so much to do? Are you losing your mind?" That's pretty much what everyone asked me the month leading up to my daughter's bat mitzvah. And the answer is - "yes, yes, yes. Always stressed, always have so much to do and I lost my mind about a decade ago." However, the answer was truly no in relation to the bat mitzvah. And that's because of Michelle from Sweet Magnolia. Michelle was so calm throughout the entire process and just so easy to work with. As I mentioned in my earlier review I was looking for someone I could really partner with since I absolutely love planning events. Michelle was happy to let me play that role, although I know for many she's just happy to do it all as well. The entire process was great, but it was especially helpful the day of the event when I could focus on my daughter's beautiful service, her sick little brother (ugh) and getting ready for the party. At one point in the midst of hair and makeup I realized I hadn't heard from Michelle and sent her a quick text to check in. She facetimed me in to show how beautifully everything was coming along. I'm almost sad the planning is over since it was so fun to work with Michelle, but the good news is we get to do it all again for my middle child in a few years! read more
