On Thursday evening at 5:30 pm, I was interviewed by Alex of your hiring team, for a cleaning job. Alex arrived fifteen minutes late, and then interviewed someone else before me. I was asked by Alex to meet him at the Blenz Coffee at Pandosy in the Mission. Alix proceeded to ask me questions about my ancestry, insisting that I was Arab and that he preferred to hire Arabs. I informed him that I was not Arab and he insisted that I had an Arab accent, was an American, and that my name was an Arab name. He spent twelve out of fifteen minutes of this interview going on about how he thought I was Arab and not asking me any questions about my history or qualifications. He insisted that I was an Arab and kept asking if I had Arab relatives. He then told me I would receive shifts and when I asked him about this, I did not receive a response. I feel this behavior is discriminatory, invasive, and harassing in nature. It is completely unprofessional and inappropriate, and I will be looking into a formal, legal complaint. This company provides nothing but the best of service. I've been using them for months at my vacation rental . They have never let me down . The Everclean team is truly a step above what you would expect from a cleaning and concierge service . Guest towels are folded in seashells , and many kinds of different presentations and the cleaning is absolutely perfect . The yard is near and trim and the pool crystal clear . I had doors and baseboards fixed by a skilled professional. This is service excellence. The team has been there in case of emergency and damage and restored the property to perfection every time . Terrible service totally unprofessional. Do not call these guys. Total scam! Our unit to be cleaned was empty, tenants had moved out and was only 400 sq ft. Immediately upon arrival he wanted $100 extra on top of the $200 that was negotiated. He showed up with hardly any cleaning supplies, no brooms, no dusters, no mobs and window cleaners or supplies to remove grease stains on the walls and cupboards . He did not even carry a garbage bag! The appliances especially the oven was greasy and not cleaned, stains not removed, toilet not cleaned. Dust and debris and hair left behind all the doors. Cupboards were left sticky and simply swiped with a paper towel. Stove top was left dirty. I left him at the unit for him to finish the cleaning; He called and claimed he worked for 3.5 hours and wanted me to pay him $300. He took after pictures from a distant and did not want to wait for me to inspect the unit after he had finished. When I called the 250 899 0242 listed on their website, the answering machine's message said " I have lost my phone" I sent a complaint email and got an email back from the cleaner claiming that this was his company and that I should wire him the money personally. I had a cleaning company before and they did a reasonable job, or so I thought. It was not until the ever clean team came in and blew my sock off that I truly saw how bad my previous cleaners were and how great these guys are.
