As soon as you walk through the timber doors your welcomed by a homely feeling happy people with smiles, great job girls. Art and design of the cafe has all sorts of enjoyment for all walks of life either inside or outside. Staff very helpful and great to have a yak or two. "After driving over the hill from Wellington to the Wairarapa called into the cafe" As I drove into town well signed cafe outside on the footpath. Menu look great, Shall venture the menu another day. The potential for a good cafe here but after two visits with large tables it all seems very confused. One visit there was no table service, we had to keep asking for things (cutlery, missing sides, etc), then the next there was table service. One visit the orders of smashed avocado contained literally half the avocado they had on the previous visit, and one piece of toast instead of two. But: the coffee is good, the food is good, so hopefully the other elements become coherent. read more
