We come to eat today with my friend. They have a very good food. Highest recommend. We loved Indian food.

The food was amazing!! So delicious and they made it vegan for us and the spice level (8) was perfect! The basmati rice was the best I ever tasted and I typically never eat white rice! Definitely 5 Stars for flavor! The Taj Mahal is pretty darn tasty too

Chose this restaurant due to the great reviews. Was it bad? No. Was it a great? Sadly, no. Quite disappointing. The food? Chicken soup was full of chicken and served hot in a tasty broth. Great start. Yum. The garlic naan was delightfully full of garlic, served warm. Really good! The tikka sauce was tasty too. Alas, that's where the accolades end. Main course, mixed grilled, the signature dish according to my server, was served sizzling hot and piled high with food. Wonderful presentation. But, the lamb, chicken leg, and chicken thigh (I think it was a thigh) were overcooked, dry, and not tasty. The veggies were tasty and well-cooked, but the shrimp and cut up chicken, although cooked fine, were quite plain and lacked flavor. Service? Friendly, but slow and not attentive. Hiw so? Tea served lukewarm, not hot. No refill offered. Water glass not refilled. Server got busy talking to a guest at the register as I awaited the check (which is calculated at the register, as it turns out). Reasonable prices. Oddly, the server, who checked me out at the register, closed out the tab and did not give me an opportunity to give her a tip. I thought that maybe the tip had already been included but when I looked at the receipt as I drove off, I saw that there was no tip added. I had high expectations, eat Indian cuisine regularly, and was really looking forward to this dinner. Maybe it was just an off night, at least in part, but if I lived in the area, instead of just passing through, I would not be back anytime soon.

    Appetizer platter, very good.

This place is in my top 3 favorite under Rapid City cuisines for India / Nepal. This one is the most traditional and authentic places for Indian / Nepalese cuisine. They can accommodate many levels of spice (or lack of spice). While the food is delicious, the ambience is lacking, very outdated restaurant. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and more of a family owned feel. Some parking available directly in front but ample parking in the rear of restaurant.

This portion sizes were very generous . The food tasted wonderful. We had tandoori chicken and I tried a new curry Muglia shrimp it has mushrooms and rasin. The flavor was so good. Lastly the garlic naan was serve hot and fresh. So soft it was a highlight of a fantastic meal...

Chicken mango with dirt I spit out.

This is by far the worst Indian/napol food we have ever had. We skipped the Kathmandu due to the long wait and quaility has diminished as well. Well tonight we ordered from Everest for the first time before we get on the road and what a HUGE mistake. We ordered online given 30 minute pick up time got there at 31 minutes and 3 minutes down the road to the house to find the chicken-65 was soggy and cold, the rice cold, the Mango Chicken a mix of chicken with what tasted like dirt when bitting down. The mix appetizer was old and hard. Please see video below. After biting into the mango chicken and getting what felt to be dirt I gagged and stopped eaten. I am not sure if the people who eat here just have low standards or what but we have had Napoli food all over and this was horrible. Waste of $55 ever!!!

    Lamb samosa
    Karolina K.

This is a very small place and they offer a pickup from their window or curbside pick-up. The food was ok, I'm a big fan of Indian cuisine but I was not very impressed with them. We had lamb samosa which were good, mushroom mutter which was very bland, chicken mushroom which most likely had the same sauce and was bland and garlic naan which was ok. Indian food is usually on a spicy side or at least has a distinctive flavor but both were lacking here.

Everest Cuisine has very good food and service -- it is also excellent for takeout. The chicken or lamb korma are especially good.

Takeout experience: The takeout process was easy and seamless. We ordered online from the website. It was ready right on time as it was scheduled online, and it was seamless pickup. They texted and emailed my order details which was helpful. Food: We ordered the lamb biryani which was flavorful... and SPICY! there isn't an option to choose a spice level here, so just make sure if you're ordering this you have a tolerance to spice. It was definitely one of my favorite dishes we ordered here! We ordered 3 curries, and it came with 3 complementary boxes of white rice! I appreciate we didn't have to specifically order a separate side of rice. Also liked the chicken saag. The vegetable curry sauce was good. We ordered the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala. While they tasted good, the two dishes tasted the same; they were indistinguishable. They had labels on their containers, but tbh it didn't matter. That was just our experience - everyone in our party felt the same way. Overall, the food was good and we'd order from here / come to dine here again. Just would probably not double up on the latter two dishes.

This spot is run by a lovely couple, with the wife juggling both the register and the kitchen. I ordered the Chicken Coconut Milk Curry (boneless chicken thigh simmered in a rich, creamy coconut milk curry). The flavor was fantastic -- a smooth curry with just the right touch of coconut. The chicken was incredibly tender, though I do wish they had given a bit more of it. I also tried the Papor (two pieces), a deep‑fried flatbread made from bean flour. I don't usually go for fried foods, but this was delicious and totally worth it. Last thing I ordered was the Mango Rice Pudding, it was delicious. From now on, whenever I travel, I'll definitely be checking to see if there are any Bengali restaurants in the area. This place reminded me how special and comforting truly authentic food can be.

This place is pretty highly rated, so we decided to check it out on our road trip from Washington…read moreto Maine. My husband is from India and cooks a lot, so I could probably be considered a food snob in this department lol. However, I couldn't help but leave an honest review so the public knows what they're getting. The restaurant is old and small. But this isn't a big deal, they have enough seating. Capacity for this place is 35 per their signage. I don't mind eating at hole in the walls and we travel abroad a lot so I've eaten in many variations of food stops. But this review is for those who are wanting to know how this specific restaurant is- it's at the bare minimum in terms of cleanliness. It's not dirty; it's just old and not well kept. We were greeted by a female and I believe she was 1 of 2 cooks. So it's definitely that home cooked style- which is great! I got butter chicken (im basic) and my husband got paneer tikka masala. The flavors were just ok compared to other places we've had. The curries were lacking a little flavor. I did order 4/5 spice out of 10 so that could be why, but even then- when you order mild at places you still can taste the masalas. They gave us a generous portion of rice. Now the butter naan. Was tiny little squares.. I don't think they make it in house. The bread is giving store bought. Just fyi- don't expect nice crispy & fluffy naan. Overall, the people were super friendly.. they have lots of great options on the menu. But due to the flavors and the naan seeming to be store bought.. watered down fountain drinks.. I'd give it 3 stars! This does not mean they were awful, this is just an honest review. When I give 4 & 5 stars; it's truly an amazing dining experience.
