For a guy, I have to say I had a great experience. A lot of the negative reviews on here had to do with the shape and color, which I didnt have to deal with. I got a basic pedicure and was very satisfied. The lady who helped me was very nice. My massage chair was comfortable and felt great! I went in with my mom, sister, and aunt and the employees were all asking if we were family and when we said yes they seemed happy we came in together. This place is a mixed bag. It's cheap and good for walking if you're not in a hurry. I've also always been happy with the work they have done when it's over. I only get basic polish manicures though, and they are fast. They do seem disappointed I don't want gel or shellac, but I don't want to set my nails with UV light. That said I do question the cleanliness of this place. I never smell bleach when I go in, and I don't see anyone opening sterile tools for manicures either. Maybe they swap sterile tools at the stations so they are ready but I am just used to seeing the bags opened in front of me so I know they're clean. My polish looks perfect for between one to two weeks. The massage is actually nice when you type or perform other repetitive motions all day. read more

This place has reasonable prices. Probably cheapest place I've ever been too but it shows. Every time I go and get a new set one of my nails ALWAYS breaks as soon as I get home. I live too far away to go back and get it fixed so I'm done getting my nails done there. Although pedicures are great. I will go back and get another. Last time i gave a review it was great service in 2015 and 2016 and 2017 and the few time i went in this year and the years i went in 2014, I've been coming here since 2014 off and on this was my go to nail shop, until the past visit, i went in on 12/15/18 right before my holiday party, i wanted them to look good, the first lady who started my nails gave up because i wanted a the acrylic to go past the tip so you could not see it and she almost did my whole nail when i only get just the tips of them, after this she had another nail tech come over and finish my nails, they came out good, not even a week later they start to peel up on the corners, which does not happen for me for about 2-3 weeks, i went in the following Saturday to get them fixed, they started like they were going to do a fill, i said no i want them to be new, but as i was having my nails fixed the owner said oh you need just a fill its been over a week i said no Michelle "its only been a week" then she tried telling me again no its been more then a week again, i again said no its only been a week, she then walked away, they were not happy they had to fix 3 nails on each finger, (6 in total) before i got my top coat the nail tech had asked me to pay first, i said on no i am not paying, i was told there would be no charge, (she rolled her eyes and walked away to get something, so after this experience, i am now looking for a new nail salon, that is a little closer to home, if Kevin was still as this location i would stay and go see him but they moved him to the Marysville location........ read more

Welcome to the WalMart of nail salons. This place is based on high volume, quick service. And I have to say I am satisfied. The "luxury pedicure" for $20 was the best pedicure I have had in a LONG time. She did an excellent job of removing cuticle and callouses.... The massage was mediocre.... mostly just quickly rubbing in of lotion, but the nail shape and polish application are very good. I also got a fill (Nancy did it) and I WILL go back and ask for her. She was a little off on the shape on three fingers, but the profile and color application are very good. She was also efficient and a nice person - though a little quiet. Don't bother with calling ahead for an appointment - there are tons of technicians and they will get you in quickly. The shop was a little chaotic and messy - the "lab coats" could use replacing - or a good washing with Biz.... but for a very reasonably priced, good quality service, they are great! read more

I've been coming here for years and I hate going anywhere else. For disclosure the only service I get at Luxury Nails is pedicures. My advice is to get there EARLY when they open if you want good service. Every time I've come during their peak busy hours I've had terrible service, so I avoid those hours. For the price you get a fantastic pedicure! I usually get the luxury that comes with the hot wax. I hate going other places where I get the same service, or worse, for a much higher price. I have been a patron of this establishment since they opened and although my first experience wasn't the greatest, the technician was young so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Since I have been satisfied with the ending results but last night I had a horrible experience and I will never go back. The first technician to take me started to remove my gel and then what I assume was her appointment came in and she just started pushing my hands away, but was not offering any explanation, next thing I know another technician came over and gestured for me to follow her. The technician didn't speak English and this is coming from management; I had a chipped nail and asked her to cut the rest down to match the length of that nail once evened out, but what she did instead was cut off all my nails. I am talking to the skin. I was offered many apologies (which is how I was made aware she didn't speak English) but at that point there was nothing to be done and they even had the nerve to ask if I liked it. No discount was offered, they clearly knew I was unhappy with the service, so I was charged $70, (receive a pedicure as well) for her to cut all my nails off, leaving my thumbs uneven and the paint job bubbly. Could have cried I was so upset, but still left a nice tip because that is what you do when someone provides a tip based service, but will NEVER go back again. read more

I absolutely love this team, they are fantastic! Kevin and Michelle are great and so is the rest of the staff. I don't think I have ever walked out of there disappointed. Kevin makes me laugh and feel relaxed the whole entire time I am there. My daughter loves them as well! Probably one of the most horrible manicures I've ever had. The experience was fine, they rushed a little bit, but the aftermath is what's horrible. I got shellac which I always get and it was a different color on my nails than on the swatch (happens all the time doesn't bother me too much) but you can literally see my nails though the shellac. It definitely needed another coat. ALSO the lady got shellac all over my skin, clear polish and the color. Which in turn, the polish like burnt my skin while placed under the heat and now my actual skin has been pealing off behind my nails. I will never go here again. read more

I recently visited this salon just to get a pedicure and ended up also getting solar nails as I was going to a wedding the following weekend. I was very impressed with the operation. Everything was great, clean, and the prices were listed on a big sign above the manicure booths so there were no surprises at time of payment. I would like to give them 5 stars, but even though I had made an appointment beforehand, I still had to wait about 15 minutes for my pedi to begin after arrival. My friend and I got a full acrylic sets done. To start, Ellie did her nails, was very rough twisting her pinky in ways it normally doesn't bend so now she has a giant bruise and can barely bend it without pain. And her thumb nail is only HALF painted. Where as my nails almost all came off less than 24 hours after getting them done and they refused to fix them. Went yesterday with a friend of mine, we both heard good things. She got acrylics and I got a "Shellac" manicure. They worked pretty quick, and did a great job! We were both surprised they were cheaper then other places, and i LOVE how they don't charge extra for french manicure. For my shellac it was only $28, with the french and 2 designs! It was busy and we were still in and out within an hour and a half. I had Kevin he talked a bit to me, and was funny. However my friends nail tech didn't talk much at all. Thankfully we went in together so it wasn't just sitting there while our nails got done, and chatted to each other when they weren't chatty. I would recommend trying this place out. I went here for years & then noticed that the quality of the nails went severely downhill. I ended up with a HUGE fungus problem that took 6 months to clear up. I also have a co-worker/friend that was going there too and she also noticed that the nails weren't lasting very long,a brand new set falling off after only a week and a half. I think they starting using an inferior nail powder. I won't go back, looking for a new place now. I would actually give them less than one star if I could. read more

I got a shellac manicure, and they soaked of my old shellac and did a french manicure at no extra cost! Great value for $28. Wouldn't recommend this place. After multiple times of asking for ombré color nails. This lady named cindy kept on pushing me to choose this "mood changing" nail polish. I tried to explain to her that it isn't ombré over and over. I got so frustrated of being there that I just ended up with single color nails. Not what I wanted. Also had to keep asking the lady to make my nails shorted which she ended up saying that my nails wouldn't look good if they were shorter. I went in last night for a fill and was very impressed! Lynn and Michelle were more than welcoming even though the salon was very busy. Lynn did an absolutely beautiful job on my nails and truly listened to how I liked them to be done, Michelle talked me into getting small designs on a few nails (always free along with airbrushing!) and did a fantastic free-hand design! They have such great choices, and specials!! They really do care about you being happy, Im super picky. I walked in at like 610, before they closed, and they made sure to give me the full pedi/mani I wanted, including my first acrylics. They kept having to refile them because I was uncomfortable with the longer ones and super picky, but they understood and had no problem even staying way later for me after they were officially closed to get it finished. I am very satisfied and will be returning with friends!! Just wish they had spent more time massaging my feet, and massaged my hands LOL but it was near closing and a pedi/mani doesnt always necessarily include a massage with it haha. read more

I live close to Everett Luxery Nails so it was so convenient, but after multiple let downs... I finally called it quits and usually drive about 30 minutes to another place. I've had shellac bubble, acrylics put on with a huge gap under the tips (I had to pay to have them removed 2 days later), my nails painted without the oil being completely removed so it wiped off 2 hours later. Last weekend I was in a pinch to my nails done and thought I'd go here again. I got a luxery manicure and pedicure. White polish on my nails and French on my toes. The manicure and pedicure were nice and the she took her time, but she went and thinned our the polish in the middle of it and I think they just use crap polish or thin it out way too much. My nails started chipping day 2, which I guess is somewhat expected for polish, but by day 4 my pedicure started chipping also. I had them done Saturday and it's Thursday... $50 down the drain. Yea, their prices are good, but you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay an extra $25 and have a pedi that lasts a few weeks rather than a few days. read more

Let's say this place isn't my go to place when I wanna get my nails done but I was in the area so why not. I came here a few times within the last couple years. The price is pretty cheap compare to other nail places. My visit was right around the time they had their promotion a set for 20. I'm very picky when I get my nails done so I ask for a good nail tech. They ended up giving me this old lady with glasses who was very grumpy. In the middle of getting my nails done they told me I will be getting an extra charge of 5 dollars cause I wanted Stelletoes nails. I don't mine paying if they do a good job. The lady ended up doing my nails all cricket. I had to ask her to reshape my nails like 10 million times. While doing my nails she kept complaining about people bringing their kids to the nail shop and how babies crying kids being loud and all. I spent over 2 hours in this shop being a pedi and full set and I was running about 30 minutes late to dinner with my mom cause they wanted to take their sweet time and make me wait while they services other people in the middle of my visit. I got fed up on the wait and slacking of work they did. I just wanted the lady to be done. Topping that off I paid 20 for a pedicure and my feet only got massage was like 2-3 minutes? After years of going to them their work had gotten sloppy and careless. My sister had a full set put on and there was bubbles in between the tip and acrylic. When she asked them to fix it they said they could only do it if they took them all off. Which was bogus (christinas nail salon fixed them without pulling them off) anyway with Annie gone there was anyone left that was capable of listening instead of doing what you'd prefer as a paying customer. My sister was told WHEN they break because of the bubbling we will fix it for free. So untill then you have to have ugly nails but we will cover it up with a design you didnt want. There was another girl there named Lauren who I believe was new after Annie ledt that was very very good. But the owner's and service were bad enough that I wont return. read more

The staff is very friendly, does nails very good, and always seem to discount or give some type of incentive (i.e. Pedicure with free design). Amazing place the prices are great the staff is friendly! They always use clean instruments or open new ones right in front of you. Michelle can always be counted on to create the best designs. You also can either get french tips or 2 designs for free its a great deal. They also have make an effort to know you and call me by name when I go in. My 4 year old son is also known there and the girls all talk to him and even paint his toes to keep him busy while I get my nails done and they dont mind that he wiggles alot! And then right after I left a hour later my pinky nail broke then the next day my pointer nail broke so I went into get them fixed free of charge of course and then two days later both my middle fingers broke as well as both my ring finger broke and they are all lifting they said I could come back in but honestly I don't have time for that I shouldn't have to go in three time in one week! Just okay. The guy working there was amazing with my daughter, had her laughing the whole time, and her nails looked good. It was a bit spendy for a kid pedicure and finger nail polish though. My pedicure was fine but nothing to write home about. My shellac manicure is awful! Took forevvvvver. There's polish stuck to my skin and it's super clumpy in places. Very nice lady I had. But very poorly nails done. Mine were alright. But still my shellac peeled the day I got them done. Very very big waste of my money. I liked the lady who did my nails but my best friend got her nails done with me. And oh my goodness that lady was very rude to her. Definitely would want a refund! I will not let anyone besides Michele wax my eyebrows! Customer service is great. The guy that works there (can't remember is name for the life of me SORRY) is amazing as well!! I love this place and continue to recommend to everyone I know. I moved out of the Everett area and visit it just to get mani, pedi, and waxing done! This location is clean as well. Went in as walk ins.. My self and my 2 daughters. Took us right away, I think because it was early. It soon filled up. I got a lux mani pedi with shellac fingers. My girls both got full solar sets which they love. Staff was friendly, but did the normal " you want add, only $3 more".. That may have been the only drawback, and my daughter was knicked once by the buffer. May go back . But you definitely get what you pay for. read more

Got the luxury mani pedi with shellac fingers and french toes while having my car serviced down the street. I even added paraffin wax for hands and feet All for $49. You can't beat the price. Cindy is the sweetest and fun to talk to. Really relaxing experience and they let me just hang with the wax in the massage chair for a bit since my car was supposed to take 2 hours. Overall, really great! My old complaint is the lack of new uv lights. A bulb fell out of mine. read more

That day I bought a " buy 2 get 1free" * Second visit, Tina was my manicurist. I had to wait a bit because Tina was working on 3 of us... I had a lot of time to Notice how DIRTY the place was. Also how 1 person was I charge of $$ drawer. During that visit I saw 1 of the employees dump the Acetone used on a client into a jug. My nails didn't last a week... I had tape around 2 of them and had to wear rubber gloves to wash my hair, dishes EVERYTHING When I went to have them fixed , she fixed 5 nails and only painted those 5 and my nails looked like !! I also saw the 1 employee pour Acetone from that same jug and bring it to a client to soak off her Nails. I ALMOST PUKED 4 days later the other Nails were peeling off Still having a " FREE FILL" I sought out a new Salon. Came in for a pedicure randomly on Monday evening. They were able to fit me in and were friendly. The place could def use a make over and dusting. The tools they used came out of a fresh bag so they sanitize them at least. :-) I switched up my color mid way and they were helpful with finding the color I wanted. Overall I'd come back but it could look more appealing in my opinion. read more
