A very pricey unsupermarket. Bought a package of Nova Lox,it was spoiled.Went back to return it the next day.With reciept. A record of my previous purchases was looked up. Then most rudely said you have purchased mostly sale items. Used to get lunch at Deli dept. Hardly any turkey,lots of mustard,even when told no. Bread stale. A very unpleasant experience. I shop here with some frequency even though it is pretty far away. A few days ago I placed an order for a specific time period. My credit card was charged for the order and I received a confirmation. Well, needless to say, when I got there, not only was my order not ready, they didn't even have any of the products I ordered and received a confirmation for. And to add insult to injury, they were attitudinal and not at all apologetic. Never again, Everfresh. Never going back again. read more

Everfresh is the go-to supermarket for the local Jewish community. It's not that big, but it's the destination for everything kosher or holiday-related. They've got butcher and sushi stations as well, along with all the typical nuts, cereals, snacks, yogurts, fruits, vegetables, and cleaning supplies. The meat is great, but the sushi is awful (coming from a non-kosher sushi lover, but it tastes like plastic). They also do a $7 delivery service, including tip, for all your lazy bums/senior citizens/mothers out there. Their return policy is iffy. Sometimes, they'll refuse, and sometimes, they're okay with it. It depends on whether they "know" you and if the manager feels like it. The cashiers are impersonal, but I don't hold it against them. Beware that they increase prices when it's closer to a holiday, like Purim or Passover, so I'd suggest avoiding around then. read more

We have been customers for years, but increasingly been disappointed with the quality and/or freshness of fish. While quality has slowly become worse, now the salmon is being sold without being scaled. This shortcoming reduces the labor for the outsourced fish supplier, and it makes the fish ill-prepared for cooking since the slime under the scales remains during the cooking process. Their solution now is to also offer the fish skinned at some five dollars more per pound. In addition, the so-called Scottish salmon is of a lower quality. What chutzpa! Some time ago, I contacted the OU organization re this issue; there response was that biologically the fish is kosher but the scmutz factor affecting cleanliness would be unacceptable for them to eat. I will never again shop at everfresh. I went to get salami at the deli I asked for 3/4 pound. The guy takes out the end piece and starts slicing. The slices were very thick and I asked that I wanted thin slices. He said you should have told me. I told him "I don't want those slices. Do you have more salami?" He said no while giving me a glaring look. Meanwhile there was a large unopened one in the counter. I asked why he wouldn't cut that salami he said "I already cut it for you. You have to take what I cut." He called the manager and he told me the same thing. I told them keep your stuff and I left. This supermarket is overpriced and the Managment doesn't give a crap about you or your family all they want is what's in your wallet. By the way. It is the job of the deli to ask what cut you would like and if they have an end piece of cold cut they will cut it thick to get rid of it. Never again. read more

They gave me a 2 hour delivery window. Very reasonable in these times. But they showed up an hour later. When I called the store, when they were 45 minutes late, to check on my delivery, the person answering the phone was rude and dismissive. I understand there could be interfering factors (got no information) or the driver could be having a problem finding our home (sometimes there is confusion about our address). Person answering the phone didn't want my name, address or order number to check on the status. They charge SIGNIFICANTLY MORE than anyone else to deliver and it's not worth paying. Better to order from Aron's in Flushing. Greatly superior market (both selection and prices) and cordial staff. I appreciate the stress of the times and the need to support local businesses but if I call and am cordial I expect to be responded to in kind. read more

I don't know how anyone can give them less than 10/10 or 5 stars. It's the most organized supermarket, clean, fresh product, ethical, excellent management that cares and they pass on their excellent respectful attitude to their staff. So lucky to have them in gn! read more

Good meat experience- the butcher customizes what I need. The moraccan kebobs- are very good. The hummus is homemade and is very good. The produce is mediocore at best I go to shop delight for most things- fish and produce then I head over to Everfresh for hummus and meat. They butterfly chicken which I like too. Occasionally go to I&D-- very good meat, garbage produce, excellent homemade salads and hummus. Gourmet glatt overall is the best but there produce is over priced read more

I like them. Convenient. However they were training their young son to work the cashier one day during this pandemic. He had his fingers in his mouth. I was called to his line & I motioned with my hands that I would wait. The young women working along side him risking their lives, I might add, understood. read more

Great store. Has everything minus the overload of procesed food most supermarkets offer. There is a great variety of fresh produce. We love their kosher meat & chicken, even though we do not keep kosher - it just tastes better and feels cleaner. There is always parking. No lines! - there are plenty of cashiers to check you out and pack your staff. Pleasant service - always willing to help. Abie at the butcher section is the best part of this supermarket. He's helpful and gives you recipes, answers questions, etc. More expensive than their direct competition, Shop Delight, and not as much selection, but Everfresh has better customer service. If they actually put prices on their website, I'd shop a lot more often. $7 delivery includes the driver's tip. Great if you have a screaming baby with you and want to get home quickly, or need to order in! read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! They sell spoiled meat and refuse to return it b/c they have a horrible return policy. We purchased ground beef and chicken on Sunday and upon arriving home we immediately discovered both were spoiled and smelled awful. We contacted the store the next day speak to Abie the meat dept manager and after waiting on hold for a long time we were told he will call us back. We never heard back from him so we decided to make the trip back to to the store to return the meat and receive store credit. We were hasseled by Abie argueing strongly they don't take back meat due to store policy. I do understand and respect policy however when it is designed to only protect the business as a basis to sell bad meat and getaway with it then it doesn't justify it. Finally after explaining what has happened and made him understand they sold us spoiled meat he agreed to issue store credit for the chicken but not the beef! He claimed he can make an exception for the chicken except the beef arguing they never take back any beef. He also mentioned he sold the beef at cost and happen to mark it down on the day we purchased it. He wouldn't admit this when we told him he knew the beef was bad and therefore he marked it down to get rid of his bad meat. In all our years of shopping at various super markets including Fairway, Whole Foods, S&S and Food Emporium we never experienced such a terrible customer and service policy. All these supermarkets are understanding and accommodating either offering full refund or store credit vs spending 30 minutes arguing and trestimg the customer poorly. This is now how you treat loyal customers and sell them spoiled meat despite patronizing them for many years! STAY AWAY FROM EVER SPOILED AND SHOP SOME WHERE ELSE. read more

On the Sunday evening my wife and I decided to have BBQ on the grill for dinner, so walked in to so called Everfresh newly Desinged meat Dept and picked what I thought to be freshly ground beef " family pack" I paid close to $20 dollar plus a few other things so to mention everything is overpriced compare to other placeses in the neighborhood, to make the long story short when I cut the ground meat in half so we we can use the other half the next day we noticed the had wrapped some old disgusting smelly ground meat probably from thire last week's left over with fresh ground meat, and they thought they would get away with it, it is unethical for religious Jews as owners to deceive their loyal customers shame on you I only give you one star for the cashier!!!!!!!! read more

Everfresh is the Best kosher supermarket in the Tri-State area!! From produce to meat I give them an A+ on everything. Their produce is super fresh, I love the meats and especially their weekly sales! Last but not least- I have not seen better customer service in pretty much any other supermarket in great neck. Everfresh location is convenient but fruits and vegetables at Shop Delight are superior. Shop Delight also has counters of cheeses from around the world. And their pastry department is the best in the area. Their cakes, pies, etc. are the very finest of any bakery. Also, Everfresh's prices are somewhat unreasonable. A 7 oz. jar of Chock Gull O' Nuts instant coffee sells there for $7.94. The exact same item at Waldbaum's or Associated sells for $6.19. Why is the Everfresh price so outrageous? I've been an Everfresh shopper for a number if years. The store stocks a nice variety of items. The meat, produce and take out departments are well stocked with quality,neatly displayed items. But more importantly, their customer service is consistently excellent. I have found that the staff knowledgeable, polite, courteous and friendly. Our go to place for groceries. Has a surprising large amount of merchandise for such a small store. Outstanding produce at very good prices. A full service butcher (expensive), fresh fish, sushi station, frozen foods, gluten free, dairy and kosher groceries. There is a large selection of Israeli items plus useful things like Havdalah candles and color coded kosher cutting boards. Most prices are comparable to the local supermarkets, plus they always have things on sale. They do a brisk business in takeout also The managers and staff are always on the scene, working hard, making improvements. The cashiers could be a little friendlier, but they absolutely couldn't be any faster, in contrast to a lot of other stores around here where the cashiers are both unfriendly and slow. My go-to store for produce, dairy products, kosher foods, Israeli products Meat and fish. In what other supermarket can you buy a havdalah candle?? Their prices, selection and quality are far superior to the local supermarkets (really) and the variety of goods they sell is remarkable for such a small store. The selection of gourmet rice alone is worth a trip and they have a large gluten free section as well. They have excellent fresh fish and be sure to try the oyster steak for your next barbeque. Staff is plentiful and they are always busy working. The owners are constantly trying to improve their operation, which is admirable.The cashiers may not be any friendlier than at Waldbaums (come to think of it, some are, actually), but they are an order of magnitude faster and there are always a lot of them. You will never wait in line for more than a couple of minutes. The store is usually very crowded, so the owners must be doing something right. Don't let those other reviews mislead you. read more

I went here to order trays of sushi, they are advertising it in their circular and website as buy 2 trays, get 1 free. I went to the store to place my order and the staff and manager claimed that it was a typo (meanwhile the fully have images created for this ad, took screenshots). This is false advertising. This company is run by bad people who try to deceive consumers. I will also be report them to the better business bureau for there false advertising practices. read more
