Very eager to let me look at which ever items i wanted from behind the glass (this can often be a problem in shops like these, when you want to see the items closer-up but no one is around to open cabinets). Not only this, but the staff were cheerful, helpful and just seemed so happy and enthusiastic, was a really nice experience, would recommend to anyone!

The shop itself is quite tired looking and could do with a revamp but the cards themselves are not too badly priced. They also offer a few related items like balloons, personalised key rings and mugs etc. There is a good range of products for the usual occasions for both male and females and the wedding range is also quite comprehensive. Worth a visit if you don't have the time and energy to queue in the larger store and the staff are usually friendly and polite.

I rubbed it into my hands as if it was a moisturiser, and only when I got home and explained it to my wife did it sound silly. Ann Summers always have a few fun items like willy toothbrushes which are great for presents.We bought a friend the starter bondage kit last year and he loved it (not sure his wife did though). Friendly staff who know you may be embarrassed, and don't make you feel unwelcome.

Shockingly, someone told me that this magnificent and oh so friendly shop is actually part of a much larger and voracious chain of paper sellers and newsagents who trade under the same name. Surely not. I mean can you imagine a bland corporate identity and an obsession with removing as much money from your purse as possible being identified with this wonderful shop? God forbid.

They also have a small range of cards and cheap toys and they have a fairly large window display in which you can advertise jobs or services. It sells quality items in a wide variety, e.g. small furniture, cards, small gadgets, Jelly Baby cuddly toys, unusual crockery, candles etc. It is a great place for finding gifts or something for yourself that's a bit unusual but classy. Prices aren't small but Zanzibar has got a sales shelf on which you can always find a little pretty bargain. Customer service is very good and the staff is eager to help if requested. The only criticism I have, is that stock does not change often enough and when you like myself pop in once a month and see hardly any newly added interesting items, it could get boring very quickly which would be a real shame. Also, the window display could be changed more often.

Brads, paint, ink, stamps, paper and cool tools to cut, punch and do other things to paper. The ladies are always happy to chat, and help, many a day I would visit after walking in the pouring rain, for a little cheer up. I always went away with a smile on my face and sunshine in my heart after hanging out for a bit. I haven't been here in awhile, but used to buy gifts for my godkids there. I bought albums to make scrapbooks for friends and family. Prices went from cheap to steep. They always had something I needed! LOL!
