I took one class towards the end of last year (2025) and I loved it! I didn't return until about February 2026 due to scheduling, but since returning I've been HOOKED. I've tried several different instructors at this studio to see who fits my vibe and I can honestly say, every instructor I've had class with has been 10/10. Marlene, Maki, Linda, and Nicole's classes are the only classes I've had the pleasure of attending. They keep you coming back for more! By far the best Pilates studio in the South Bay! All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and they have the best priced packages. I have been going to this studio for almost a year. I recently started exploring other studios to find more classes with affordable prices and times that work for me, but nothing beats Every Body's Pilates. I love that the classes are max 10 clients. Small classes allows the instructors to really cater to the clients and ensure proper form is being used, or allows for personal adjustment. Pilates has really helped me with my posture and overall core strength. I love going to a class, trying a new move and being impressed by myself that I can do it. My favorite classes are Wednesday nights with Nicole and Saturday mornings with Maki. Nicole always mixes it up and does a jump class every other week. I love this place and wish I had started Pilates many years ago, it's so beneficial! I do reformer pilates, which is done on a machine with pulleys and straps. The instructor takes you through a series of movements, and may use all sorts of props, such as weights, jump boards, back massagers like "egg crates", etc. You can start as a newbie and learn the basics, then progress. You don't have to be coordinated, a dancer, or thin, you start where you are and work from there. Every Body's Pilates is a comfortable place with small classes and great instructors! You might find a favorite instructor but when you happen to have a sub or try a different class, you always learn something. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful. I was truly hesitant to join a Pilates gym. I am rather shy with my body, so I find it hard to be in exercise classes. However, my experience with Every Body's Pilates turned my hesitancy into excitement. I felt comfortable from the moment I entered the reformer section of the gym. I had Jill as my instructor for the session, and she was totally understanding of my needs. I have a chronic illness that affects my mobility. Jill made sure to give us a beginner class that was mild but still left most of us sweating. Jill was also very funny throughout the session. The gym is also clean and they follow strict rules of hygiene which I appreciate. I am most definitely going back and would recommend this pilates gym to everyone! read more

Just the best studio ever, seriously. The instructors are ALL so amazing and dedicated and accommodating and every other good quality you would be looking for. I started out knowing absolutely nothing but they are so skilled at correcting and verbalizing what they want so that it's genuinely easy to visualize and perform. They're all so qualified but they still genuinely care so much about each client and their progress. So many kind and caring and understanding women all around (instructors and the community). I tried Reformer Pilates at another spot a while back and didn't go back because the instructor made me feel stupid and the help given for a first timer was almost none. I tried out the class here for Newbies yesterday for the first time and felt very comfortable and encouraged throughout the whole session. The instructors were very helpful and encouraging. The session was challenging for me, but my body felt better and I slept like a baby. A lot of tension was released and I didn't feel like a loser after the class. I look forward to my next session and hopefully I can continue and not give up (because of me). read more

I wish I can give this place 10 stars I started last September just thinking of getting some relief for my neck and back after multiple cortisol shots and PT treatments. 3 private introductory sessions turned into 4 classes a week, back to back with barre and reformer pilates. I also tried Cadillac which was absolutely challenging but amazing after. I started out with very a very weak upper back, my arms would shake during various positions and exercises and felt weak overall. After 4 months I am SO much stronger and build up some muscles. A lot of my pain spots went away and I just feel so good every time going to class. I love the instructors there (especially Marlene she is AMAZING); each one has a completely different style and personality- some are hardcore boot camp while others are graceful but kills slowly and surely So recommend this place, 10 stars! read more

I really can't say enough good things about this studio and the instructors. All the instructors are knowledgeable, compassionate and dedicated. I felt welcomed, well guided and stronger since I've been coming for a few months. When I was shopping around for a studio I called and spoke to the owner Jill, I was sold, she spent time with me on the phone answering my questions and telling me exactly what to expect, I have found that every interaction I've had with her since has been energized and fun. I'm sitting in my car writing this review after my first pilates class. The five minute back from class gave me all the information I need. My body feels SOOOOOOOO GOOD after this. To everyone who has ever thought about starting pilates or continuing their journey. I'm a newbie to Pilates and started going to a chain Pilates studio in October 2024 but after 2 months went searching for other options. I looked and search everywhere for a studio and found Everybody's Pilates. My introduction with Jill was what ultimately convinced me to join Everybody's Pilates. I'm so happy that I did and I am so grateful for her studio. I've only had the chance to take classes from Jill, Amaliis, Julie & Maki but, they all are truly amazing. They are kind, attentive and actually care about their clients. Their Newbie class is essential for correct form but unfortunately most Pilates studios do not offer this. You will be lost and overwhelmed as I was when I was not guided. I also struggled with pain after the classes as a result of not having correct form. Hands down one of my favorite birthday parties to date! I wanted to throw an 80's dance workout (think Jazzercise meets Zumba) and I couldn't think of a better spot to have it at. Jill was so very accommodating and allowed me to rent the dance room for an hour and even introduced me to a fabulous instructor (Richelle)! We had a private class for an hour, I invited 12 of my closest girlfriends, and we had such a blast!! Richelle even brought props for us and created a custom workout session that involved a little bit of everything...even a little birthday surprise at the end. The dance room was large and had so much space. It was very clean and so bright with tons of natural light from the windows. The energy was great and everyone enjoyed themselves so much! What's better is that it is in such a great location and we were able to walk to a nearby restaurant to continue the celebration afterwards. If you're looking for a fun way to celebrate, I highly recommend a fitness class or private session here at Every Body's Pilates. The facility is great and the people are wonderful!! read more

I'm so happy I found this place. I'm new to Pilates and wanted a workout I can enjoy throughout my pregnancy. The newbie class with Jill was fun and I felt so good afterwards. I'm horrible with stretching and always have lower back pain. After one class I noticed my back pain was almost unnoticeable!! Although it was a group class with about 8-10 people, Jill made it very personalized and spends time making sure everyone feels comfortable and helps you when needed. Positions can be modified if you have injuries or feel uncomfortable so there's something for everyone. The stretches felt so dang good I can't wait to go back. You can say I'm hooked! I am way out of shape and a little past middle aged. I needed to find something that made me feel good, but gave me a challenge. A friend had been talking about Pilates and how good it made him feel when he was done. I was referred to Margarita at Every Body's and have been taking the newbie reformer class with her (Tuesdays 6pm) for the last 4 weeks and have been having such a good experience that I have brought two friends into the class with me. Can't rave about this place enough! I stumbled upon the studio when looking to ease back into working out after having a baby, and something for my husband and I can do together. First off, can we just talk about how awesome that name is?! I've been practicing pilates for a few years and have been to many studios in the area, and this is one of my favorites. I love the vibe, and Jill the owner is a real sweetheart! Classes are well-balanced with strengthening for muscle tone and stretching for mobility. You will leave the studio after a class feeling like you can take on the day--not too worn out--so you can go back for more the next day, hehe! This studio is also very beginner-friendly, as they offer "pilates for newbies" a few times per week. They are also very accommodating for people with injuries or limitations. For my lower back issue, I am encouraged to listen to my body, avoid certain exercises, and modify as needed. My favorite teachers are Jill, Becca, Julie, and Marlene. Note for experienced pilates practitioners: classes here are taught with different gearbar/stopper/spring settings than Stott standard, but you get used to it! read more

5 stars hands down! I started joining classes a month ago and have done 12 classes since. I have taken Pilates classes with Jill, Becca and Jen and have also taken 1 Barre class with Marlene. All of the instructors are incredibly patient, kind and very attentive. They remember your name and ask how your week has been so you're definitely not just another number like some of these other places. The building is very cozy and clean/sanitized (I love all the little lights at night). There is on site parking and lots of street parking. Classes are easily booked and cancelled through an app and for someone who is not "techy", I find it incredibly user friendly. I highly recommend! read more

Everyone at this studio is so welcoming and supportive. They are very patient with beginners, as well as providing challenging workouts for the more advanced. I started with this studio in 2018, after having 2 knee replacements. I'm happy to report that, through Pilates and the help of everyone here, I am stronger than ever. I don't know why I haven't reviewed this place. Strange! I came here because this place was so incredibly close to me. I would walk there and back after a class. It just seemed to make the most sense because what pulls me away from any type of exercising is that I have to get into my car to drive somewhere to "work out". So that was the biggest perk for me. Walking in, you feel very welcomed. There are reformers, bathrooms, changing area and then (when I was going) they had just finished the zumba/booty barre room. I took advantage of the introduction classes which really gave me a feel of the reformers. I loved working on the reformers and the different instructors. They all really had their own personalities and information to share. Another perk was while checking in or with any questions I could contact the owner (name escapes me right now) and she'd answer me quickly! I mean, texting is the new thing now and it was just so convenient! Two downsides of this place for me was the first two times that I came, there were some other students that were semi rude in the class. They'd talk, giggle and what not -- I found it just immature and rude but the good thing is that from this, the instructor and the owner apologized for their behavior. So maybe not so much of a downside? One downside then, ha! Are the prices. They seem a little steep for me. I tried comparing this place to others and it's just a little more pricey. I like that the classes seem more small and concentrated so maybe that's why the prices are more than other places but even so, too high for me. Overall, this place is really great if you take advantage of the packages. Otherwise, I'd try to find something that is more affordable. read more

I love Every Body's Pilates! TONS of + for me. -located in cozy Old Torrance -plenty of parking (located next to a public parking lot) -friendly, professional, attentive staff -clean studio -variety of classes/hours offered -they have a few changing rooms I work full time & I get off at various hours. The fact they have plenty of classes in the evening, there's almost always a class I can join. Reformer classes & pilates are very subtle movements but I'm always sore after. Proves every bit of my muscles are being worked. Very relaxing & satisfying. Cardio kickboxing is great for when I want exertion. I look like I just got out of the shower after this class is over...not to mention my abs, arms, glutes, back, legs get sore within the day. Love it! I'm not coordinated but Zumba is hilariously fun. It's like dancing around to great music with friends. No one judges me even if I'm facing the wrong way. Haha. It leaves me in a great happy mood...and sweaty of course! Booty barre is my favorite class. I'm addicted to it. It doesn't feel like we're doing much cardio but my heart rate gets pretty high (I wear a heart rate tracker)& I'm dripping with sweat. My butt and legs feels tight the next day & my pants fits so much better. My oblique gets a workout too as long as I listen to the instructor & do it right! (She'll correct you nicely if you're not getting the full benefit) I get bored of doing the same exercise over and over so Every Body's Pilates keeps it fun and fresh for me. :) Oh and it's not cheap, but for the private lesson feel you get even in a group class, it's totally worth it! read more

I was looking for a Pilates studio where I didn't feel out of place or intimidated. I was so relieved when I discovered that this studio was actually meant for "every body." I did my introductory class with Jill, the owner, and immediately new I was in the right place. The twenty minutes she spent on the phone with me before my first class was even more impressive and helped me feel comfortable. My regular instructor was Marlene! Awesome! Her classes always put me in a good mood! Great instruction, a fabulous workout, with the perfect intensity, positive vibes and the coolest music. I appreciated how she kept an eye on my form! I had just moved into the area and was excited to find a home. Unfortunately, I've had to move out of the area and am dreading my journey to find a comparable studio. I found this gem in old Torrance. I am in my late 60's and Jill takes a history when you enroll ; and if you have any health issues she modifies the exercise so you don't get injured . She individualizes the workout for you when needed. I have attended some of the classes given by other instructors. They were all great. I enjoy going to these classes. read more

I just turned 32, and I knew I wanted to try something different, I checked yelp and found every body's Pilates. Although im a complete novice, everyone I have taken clases with has been incredibly patient and understanding and encouraging. I have mostly taken clases with Sharleen and she is incredible. She has the right balance of a personable attitude and the know how to help you get the most out of your practice. She's very hands on and will make sure you're getting the movements correct without making you feel bad about not getting everything right away. I love this studio! I am here 2-3 times a week. It's super clean, everyone's nice and friendly, and the instructors are amazing. Although I have only had reformer classes with Jen and Julie, I love them! They definitely try to get to know you and your body/strength/injuries/issues so they are able to provide the best modifications suited to your needs if necessary. The instructors also pay close attention to your form and alignment. The classes can be challenging and I absolutely love that. I go in the morning and parking is never an issue. read more
