i never leave reviews, but i got a couple piercings here and it went so amazing and i couldn't ask for a better piercer. alyssa was very reassuring and led me through the entire process and each step she was taking. she made sure i was comfortable and liked the placements of the piercings, showed me that everything was sanitized properly, and helped me with aftercare instructions as well. such a great place for piercings! read more

I got pierced by Charlie (I think she is the only piercer at the moment) and she was extremely helpful as it was my first time in a tattoo shop. You could tell she was very sanitary and knew her shit! made me feel so comfortable. She also gave me advice on what piercings would look good and heal well with my anatomy. As far as the shop itself goes they are extremely covid safe still and everything is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would highly highly recommend. One thing I will say though if you're used to getting pierced at random places like Claire's, Mall shops, etc like I was.. Getting pierced at a tattoo shop will be a lot more money which I knew but I guess I just didn't realize how much more. For my two piercings it was around $250 but after my whole experience it was so worth it! The price mainly depends on what jewelry you select and I went with the cheaper earring for my tragus and middle range pricing for my mid piercing. Went in to set up an appointment and everyone was super nice! they have you put down a $60 deposit so they can hold your appointment which basically makes sure you show up. Got to meet Flip when i went in to set up the appointment and he was super excited to do my tattoo. Amazing artist and makes the experience very easy by cracking jokes and just straight up talking to you. Where to start. This is tattoo shop has some good work and some good reviews about their tattoos. That is why my sister made the appointment for me and her to get a sibling tattoo together. They charge a fee to reserve a time and day to get a tattoo. A little unusual to me because I have many many tattoos that I have gotten all over the country and in a few different countries of the world and have never ever heard of this but it wasn't a big deal. Not once did they tell us it was non refundable. The day after we made an appointment we found out my sister has a tumor and the only thing they were worried about was getting their money. They told us that we could have somebody take her place since the money was already down. Whatever, my fiancée is in town with me and she wants another tattoo as well. So we kept the appointment for 11:30. There was a pretty decent ice "storm" with a heavy dusting the night before. Knowing this and that I live 30 minutes away on a dry summers day left almost an hour early because of road conditions and was still a little late by 10-15 minutes. But it wasn't a big deal because the lady who was going to give me the tattoo messaged me and said she was going to be a little late. By 11:50 all the paperwork was filled out and I informed them that we needed to be gone no later than 2pm. And 2 hours is more than plenty for two tattoo artist to give 1 tiny $60 tattoo to two people. Well they both showed up late. I'm not talking 10 more minutes than me late I'm talking they didn't show up until 1 o'clock and didn't even bother to come to us saying anything along the lines of I'm sorry I'm late let's get started. No. It was here's the two sketches I drew up (that looked not amazing and the line work wasn't too great either. I'm very picky about my line work because it's gonna be on my body forever) so I told her I'd like a couple things changed because it wasn't exactly what i wanted and anybody who gets a tattoo and cares what they get knows very well that they don't want just a quick sketch and that looks like it was drawn super quick and careless like. So i asked her to add a couple things knowing that when she redrew it for the stencil It would look better . And they knew my fiancée still needed her to get hers drawn up still and the guy had also been sitting in the back, I know this because the reception lady said Somebody just came in let me go inform him on the situation because he was supposed to be the tattooing her. And he came out 10 minutes after the lady from the front desk came out. At that point it was 1:15 and I knew that neither of us were going to get our tattoos done before 2. When my friend was telling them it was her first tattoo they made sure to walk her though the process so she wasn't as nervous. They are very clean and sanitize everything. Made a very spontaneous last-minute decision to get my belly button pierced and walked in without an appointment thinking I would just come back later. To my surprise, they accommodated me immediately. I'm fairly new to piercings so I was very transparent with Soldier Mike about my fears and he was so good at calming my nerves! He kept me distracted during the procedure while at the same time being very clear with instructions. To be honest, I thought it was going to be very painful and it wasn't at all. Emailed Krist's assistant in order to schedule an appointment. As per their guidelines i sent them a $200 deposit via paypal. They sent me a date which i responded saying would work for me and i expected them to schedule me for that day. I got no confirmation email and after re-emailing them 2 times and calling the shop i finally got a reply after the date had passed. No future dates would work for me so i respectfully requested my deposit back. This was denied on paypal and no response has been given from Krist's assisstant via email. I called the shop to see if something could be done through their management and was told nothing could be done. I hope the shop and the other artists are more professional, but i would not attempt to get a tattoo from krist unless youre okay with possibly losing 200-500 dollars. read more

I had an awesome experience today with getting my tattoo at Evil Genius. I had a consult with Eli, the artist, yesterday to plan the design and then had my actual appointment today. The transfer/sketch that he made looked like squiggly lines to me, but the finished product looks BETTER than the picture I showed him of what I wanted. He added color variations and shading to make my wolf come to life. I could not be more pleased with my tattoo. I think pricing was very fair for the quality and detail that I got. The facility is nice and clean, and the staff was fun and friendly! I highly recommend this tattoo facility, and highly recommend Eli as an artist! He is truly, amazingly talented! SCAM!!!! This place will take your deposit for a tattoo and never provide any services for you. They feel protected by a small disclosure on their receipt that says "Deposits are non-refundable" They made me put down a deposit to save my spot for my tattoo. They mis-scheduled my appointment and made no attempt to fix the situation. Not even reschedule the time they had mistakenly scheduled me for because I'd still be at work and would not be able to make the appointment. They blocked my messages, wasted my time, took my money, and were completely disrespectful! This place gives local tattoo shops a bad name please spend your HARD EARNED MONEY some where else! read more
