Yes, I know how bad smoking is for you - I recently had the pleasure of wrapping some poor soul's newly-obtained stump resulting from a below-the-knee-amputation due to poor circulation related to cigarette use - but I REALLY enjoy an occasional cigar and glass of outside-my-tax-bracket-whiskey. This is THE place to go in the area when you need any tobacco item. Two walls ranging from Claro to Oscuro feature almost every well-known brand as well as some pretty obscure finds. There is almost always a table featuring a pile of stuff on sale, and I have never bought a stale stogie from here (although at a pace of less-than-one/month, I could easily be wrong). There's tables and newspapers (also a Greek paper available FYI) that you can sit at and enjoy a smoke, if doing so at home is verboten. (And unless you count the QuickDraw, there are no TV's, but I consider that a refuge in this age of constant-screen-staring.) Like any good tobacco shop, they've got every form of lottery available here - and people seem to hit pretty consistently from the posted winnings near the register. Oh, I almost forgot - REAL PIPE TOBACCO BLENDS! There's a counter with about TWELVE different blends of pipe tobacco in big ol' clearly labeled apothecary jars. If you smoke a pipe, just FORGET about getting those ridiculously priced tins or plastic baggies with crap in em - these blends don't b***s**t around with names like "Summer Sunrise" or "Engine No 45"; they're straight-up - "Amaretto", "Vanilla", "Cordial" and SO superior for making your own custom blend. And at about $4/oz, they're also far cheaper than the pre-packaged garbage most people are forced to buy since, well let's face it, smoking pipes has been on a downward trend for a long, long time. But hey, we'll be able to indulge freely soon enough once they figure out a way to slap some stem-cells in ya and re-grow all those tarred-up alveoli... right?

He asked what I was looking and also my price range. After a short Q & A session he was able to recommend a nice cigar so I bought 3! He was extremely pleasant to work with. I didn't get a change to really explore the whole place but the setting was open, clean and they had stairs leading to what seemed like a little loft. I had tried others with limited selections or they were just way too small. Matador was really nice. First off there is ample parking. A sizable humidor with slightly higher prices but as a B&M I get it. There are tons of seats. I showed up 30 minutes into a NFL playoff game and there still were a couple of seats. There are a bunch of guys that are members but as a non-member felt welcome. Wasn't like they didn't want you there. Tons of TV's but there are always guys there with Ipad's or laptops watching other things. The last time there was a hostess. She would get you water, soda, hot chocolate. Another nice thing about the lounge is you can bring in food. In the shopping center is a really good pizza place next door, Jersey Mike's, Sushi, Halal Food and a Duck Donut's. If I have anything negative is as a non-member it would be nice to be able to bring liquor in without paying. I don't mind having soda or coffee but I like bourbon or rye and those are expensive. They charge a $10 fee. All of a sudden it's starts getting expensive. But obviously if you become a member you don't pay which is what they are trying for. If in the area and in the mood for a good stick and relaxation I definitely recommend.

Anytime I call them, they have them in stock, and if they don't, they will order them for you. Buy in bulk if you can so you can stay home during these trying times. The employees are very nice and highly accommodating. Very friendly and they are always polite. The store is extremely clean, and they are literally cleaning every single time I visit. They have made precautions for COVID--19, like a barrier between the customer and the staff, but it does not change the great atmosphere. The prices are reasonably competitive. Service is speedy with a smile. Parking is plentiful. Be careful that you don't miss this small building on 25A, as it is set back from the road, and it comes up quick. The structure itself is very cute. Nicely decorated. A definite must visit. Great selection with such a sensational staff. Not bad for a very decent brand of cigar, in comparison to the rest of the competition in the area. So overall, try not to judge this place from the outside/inside much. They've offered me the best discounts on prices I've gotten from most other shops I've been to in my life, but all that really needs to be said is that they're the best around, that's all there is to it. The staff are super friendly & helpful, always offering me the best rates on authentic quality products that aren't cheap, fake, & broken before even leaving the store like with 110 Convenience (right off Walt Whitman Road by the mall (on Route 110)). These guys are the best & I've shopped around all over Long Island & even out of state when vacationing sometimes, but I actually make the trip going past Huntington Village (which I have to pass thru anyway) & I go all the way to them, because I know these guys are always reliable & not overcharging me (or giving me a cheaper price 1 day and then the next it's even more expensive like an experience I had at E-Smoke & Cigars in Huntington Village).
