They forced me to leave and return with the proof of Visa payment. They then agreed it as a return and would charge me half price. Again they tried to force me to pay cash without an invoice, on gaining an "invoice" there was no half price reduction, and they had charged for work not done or agreeing. In the following argument they threatened to hit me. I called the Police, the police heard the foul mouthed abusive the staff were shouting at me while on the police call. The staff all ran abandoning the garage when the police came. The Police officer upon their return agreed a £50 reduction in return for me not pressing criminal charges. The manager also insisted I never came back ( as if I would). It then turned out for a second time they had not fixed my car. They ignored two emails and one hand delivered written attempt to solve the issue. I took em to a small claims court. They didn't provide any evidence or witness statement ( deadline was 14 days before the hearing, which I meet). they turned up 10 minutes late to the hearing. Claimed for 15 minutes that they hadn't received any evidence/witness statements from me. A total lie, which proved. For not meeting the deadline the Judge barred their witness statement which the issued to the court the day before the hearing, and not at all to me! The Judge ruled against them, ordered full costs and interest too. To be paid within 14 days. they didn't pay. I give theme final notice and a deadline (1 calendar month beyond the court deadline). They provided a cheque. Which has bounced. Which is a criminal offence. I'm now looking to pursue both criminal and obviously via debt collection the actual money. In their invoice they state that they do not warranty parts, well they don't get any choice about it, under the sales of good act supplied parts must be fit for purpose, which my were not. the staff are rude and unhelpful and care little about the customer. You might have seen them unreasonable garage repair places on TV well if you want to waste some money and time go down and have a visit, it will cure anyones low blood pressure
