We had a great lunch here. The owner was super friendly and gave us good recommendations. Nice variety and good prices. We will definitely come back.

4 years later and I still love this small cafe. The owner is the main chef and he does a fantastic job. He is also very friendly. The prices are beyond reasonable(I don't think anything is over $12) and the service is fast. There are about 10 tables to sit down at and chances are you will find a seat. The parking is limited, but there is off-street parking as well. I recently came here for breakfast(pancakes and fruit) and because the serving was pretty large, I had an ample size of left overs. I highly recommend this cafe!

I came in the strength of someone else's breakfast review. When I arrived it was an hour past their breakfast window, which ends at 11 am, but as it was not busy, they made me the breakfast I wanted anyway. He food is very similar to how you would make it at home. The home fries where sliced potatoes, not prepared cubes. I liked the food. The restaurant itself is more counter service than table service, not fancy at all, but they brought my food to my table. Some regulars came in and had a friendly exchange with the cook. I think this place serves the downtown Pawtucket business community. Lots of takeout. I would go back. The coffee is good.

I can add Lorraine Diner to my list of consistently good breakfast spots. I met a friend here this…read morepast weekend for brunch. Although the parking lot was busy, there were still plenty of tables available inside. There is a larger dining area in the back, but we stayed in one of the booths in the area where you first walk in. It gives old school diner vibes with the red stools, yellow/tan booths, aluminum accents, and small tile floor. The menu is comprehensive as it offers breakfast and lunch, and both sweet and savory options. My friend and I both ordered the steak and eggs ($16.99 each) but I ordered my steak medium (anticipating for it to be cooked a little heavier than medium), with scrambled eggs and cheese on top, with a grilled English muffin. The food came out after about 10-15 minutes. They did have about 4 options of hot sauces we could choose from including Frank's, Tabasco, Cholula, and Sriracha - but the only right answer is Sriracha followed by Cholula. The steak was tasty and cooked exactly how I wanted it to, with a gentle sear. The home fries were delicious as they were soft, but also had bits of fried onions to enhance the flavor. The English muffin was golden, crispy, and slightly buttery. The eggs were very fluffy and the white cheese was completely melted into them which was great. The service was good, where we got everything in a timely manner, but we didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed with questions regarding our experience.

I had like a hamburger that was like the diners specified hamburger and it came in club sandwich form and I'm not a real big fan of my burger coming like that . I also had the fries and this coffee bun type ordeal . The burger was a 6/10 , fries 6/10 and the coffee bun was 5/10, the bun was definitely house made which is good but the bread they made it out of gave off white loaf bread and I just wasn't a fan. All in all meal was a 6/10 service was top tier food was sub par at best and the prices are amazing I paid around 60 bucks for the two meals and drinks plus tip .

The service is a little on the slower side but when you have great food and great staff the wait is all worth it. Inside sitting is very "cozy" but as soon you come in you smell the coffee brewing, and the staff always makes sure you're coffee is always full which I loved! Really brings me back to my childhood and going to Pawtucket breakfast spots with my Dad on weekends. Immediately I thought yes- reasonable breakfast prices! 2 eggs, toast and home fries $5. The equivalent to the $1.99 breakfast that was forever a Pawtucket staple. I would consider this the new bar. I did add bacon which came out super crispy- love it! I did ask for half an order of home fries which was perfect for me. I did love all the little crunchies in there. I like their home fry game here. My son had a banana pancake. A small she stated- It was as big as the plate and cost $2! I can share the waitress was very nice and I paid attention to her interactions with other patrons. They have a sign that referred to entering as a stranger but leaving as a friend. I can share they seam like they mean it here. It was a comfortable, inviting type of place and its not because of the decor but the staff.
