Serenity exceeded our expectations so much that my sisters and I returned for a farewell get together for my sister about six weeks later. The house that Serenity occupies was built in 1916 and definitely adds to the charm of the experience. The desserts were store bought and tasted good but they were obviously store bought and were a minor let down. We ended up boxing up some of our sandwiches and desserts to take home to enjoy later! Each of us were given our own large pot of tea to go along with our lunch. Our first visit, I chose Peach Black Tea while one of my sisters tried the Chai Black Tea. We both bought the same teas from the store in the tea house to take home with us as we enjoyed them so much. The individual tea pots are quite large, The tea pots are wrapped in large, colorful cozies to stay warm throughout our visit. My sisters and I sampled each others' tea, of course. I went for their signature big breakfast with bacon, sausage, 2 eggs scrambled, potatoes, and a blueberry pancake. It was perfect hangover food. Our waitress was extremely friendly. Our group was happy with their food. It's a cute diner. My blueberry pancake was a bit undercooked, but I ate around it. They have free parking nearby and a gender neutral single bathroom stall.
