Came here to get a massage. Arrived a little late and by were more than accommodating. They took me right in a gave me the full hour. I know some places will only give you the time based on your appointment slot. The facility was clean and they offer a wide variety of other services as well. It is a little tough to find. You have to enter from the back and go through 2 buildings. It faces the street. The massage was decent. As with any massage it relaxes you completely but I have had better. If there is a cheaper deal I'll take advantage of it again. After the massage they told me they would honor the same Groupon deal if we were to come back for another massage. read more

Place is ok. Massage however sucked. She clearly didn't know what she was doing. If you have gotten a massage before you will be able to tell she is not a professional. Plus, she was not friendly. I arrived early and she told the receptionist, "her appointment is at 1:30pm I am going to lunch now". When she came back from lunch she told me "let go". I asked her how her lunch was to make conversation and she told "when you know someone is eating for you, you don't enjoy it". I couldn't believe it. I asked for a hot stone massage, she would make so much noise getting the stones and placing them back in it's place that I couldn't enjoy my massage at peace. I was excited to buy my LEO a gift of a couples massage and so I schedule it for a Wednesday. He then told me he couldn't make it that day so I called to reschedule . When I called back they began telling me they only do couples massages on Thursday Fridays and Saturdays. They said they couldn't do anything about it and they can schedule it for a Thursday. The groupon clearly specified Swedish massage or hot stone but I came in thinking that asking for a deep tissue was not going to be a big deal. While the therapist certainly tried to do her best deep tissue was not her specialty If you are looking for a deep tissue massage this might not be the place for you but for a regular relaxing Swedish this is decent place Nice staff and facilities read more

Just had a wonderful couples massage by Danay and Joannia! Hot stone for me and swedish for my fiance. My first hot stone and I am hooked! What a pleasant surprise that we were able to choose our own preference. Everyone was so friendly from the moment we scheduled the reservation through our departure. The room was extremely relaxing and romantic. We got lost on the way there and was a bit stressed arriving late...all that stress was gone by the time we left. Fantastic massage and great staff. I purchased a couples massage (at another spa) for my wife and myself for her birthday weekend several months in advance, but I had no idea they couldn't book a couple until late August... So, I had to scramble and found a Groupon for Exel Spa, but before I put myself in the same predicament, I called them to check availability for a couples massage. Fortunately for me, they had an immediate opening. All the permits and licenses were posted so it seems like a legit spa with all kinds of beauty and health products for sale (not a happy ending kind of place) and both masseuses were very polite and respectul. Long story short, the massage was awesome and the experience was worth every penny. I definitely plan on returning. Don't forget to tip the masseuse, too! read more

I booked this last min for a couples massage. It was our anniversary. It was not a spa it's a storefront then in the back they did torture! My husband hated his too. Pisses me off we didn't just stop them from continuing. They never asked about any medical conditions. They kept dropping the hot stones on the tile floor. The therapist working on Husband was pregnant and he says her belly was all over him. She actually hit him in the face with the hot stones, twice!The tables were horrible! Thin and creaking. The women who worked on me couldn't communicate and didn't understand when I told her I have bursitis in my shoulder. When I was face down they use the paper caps and don't cut them so you can breath! I kept trying to tell her but she just kept saying down, down. I finally pulled it out so I could breath! When I asked how long it would take they said a few hours. Then I told him I was planning on going in soon and he proceeds to tell me that the lady would not be in for a few hours... Bought the massage deal in groupon. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY !!! The place and the receptionist look very clean and professional. The massage itself was very disappointing. I was helped by a masseuse who had a cold, she kept sniffing deeply every 2 minutes. At one point she blew her nose hard and went with her hands to my body !!!! OMG !!!! Now the massage itself, no technique at all !!! I told her before she started that I wanted her to concentrate on my neck, shoulders and back. When she was on the spot, I let her know that was the place she needed to spend more time. The lady would put oil and run her hand across my body back and forth, no pressure, no real massage, no technique !!! When I reminded her that I needed her to work on my shoulder and back, she replied to "let her do her work". No more to be said.... very unprofessional and I got nothing, no good feeling and muscle relieve when you get out of a massage. Instead I left aggravated, grossed by her poor hygiene, and lack of massage knowledge. That is why this company needs to advertise on Groupon, because nobody goes back to this masseuse !!! When I called to inquire about massage specials, I was told to prepay, so I provided my credit card information. The guy who received me at the office counter said he could see my credit card information on his database, but he was not sure if anyone had processed it. He proceeded to ask me to please check that for him by calling my credit card customer service. UNPROFESSIONAL! My appointment was at 2:30 and I received a call at 2:00 where he asked me to please arrive at 2:45, so I did. After waiting an additional 45 minutes, a female massage therapist walked out and said she'd be right with me. Several minutes later, a male therapist walked out. I was never asked my preference about the gender of my therapist. When I questioned him about it, he said they were not allowed to ask. The office worker said the female therapist had another customer that she had to see, so, I left with stress instead of relaxation. read more

I just got out of an amazing massage. My massage therapist was fantastic and spoiled me with some hot stones in addition to my Swedish massage. They chocolates waiting for you and a bottle of water for you afterwards. It was a very clean place as well. The only complaint I have is that my massage wasn't quite 60 minutes -- more like 45. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They treat you very indifferent. They barely speak to you. The massage was mediocre to say the least and the massage therapist smelled of cigarettes. I had bought the Groupon to go with my mother as her Mother's Day gift. The day of our massage, there was a huge storm with lots of rain, thunder and ligjtening. While on her way, my mom she gets into an accident while on the Palmetto. Obviously, she had to cancel. When I called to tell them they were the least bit interested and advised I would lose my Groupon. I even offered to show them the Police Report. Nothing. Never again. This is the first negative Review I've ever written. I'm not one to do this but these people deserve nothing more. read more

Very disappointed!! Don't go there!!! Went for a hot stone massage. After a very light massage I was told, have a nice day. I asked what happened to the hot stone? Lady had not been told & gave me a 5 minute hot stone massage. I paid for 60 minutes not 5. Not her fault!! Nice lady and I still gave her a nice tip. Told the person at desk who couldn't care less. She rudely asked if I wrote it down on the consent form. I said yes, and to go look! Then she wanted to schedule me for another day. I live in Vermont & I am going back at 5:00 am.
