People--hire professionals for electrical work!! I'm a DIY guy but DIFY when it comes to electrical. They were running a bit late but at least I got a courtesy call to let me know. They arrived and were very professional and they were even gearing up with the booties as to not track in the house. Nice added benefit when they care about the homeowners property!! Tyler and his co worker (Sorry missed or forgot his name--Great guy tho!) checked all the outlets on the circuit and diagnosed the problem. Showed me the issue and explained to me in detail what the issue was and what they were going to do to resolve it. He swapped out a couple older rusted outlets. Tyler did not have all the items he needed on his truck but has promised to stop back in a couple days to add the weather protective covers to the outdoor outlets!! As long as they stop back, the 5 star will hold. Would definitely use them again.

We engaged TYL for restoration services and encountered serious concerns regarding their performance, communication, and handling of our property. At the outset of the project, our home was left unsecured during the removal of our belongings, creating an immediate risk to both the property and its contents. Upon return, many items were either left unprocessed in their original packed condition, returned wet, improperly handled, commingled with items belonging to another household, or replaced with items that were not ours. Additionally, a substantial portion of our personal property appears to be missing. Communication throughout the project was inconsistent and, at times, entirely absent for extended periods--particularly following significant issues. When contact was made, it was exclusively through staff members rather than company ownership. Notably, several of the employees we initially worked with are no longer employed by the company. Despite these deficiencies, the company has attempted to pursue payment and legal action for services that were not completed in a satisfactory or professional manner. Based on our experience, we strongly advise others to exercise due diligence and caution before engaging this company.

The quality of materials and workmanship is outstanding. What really excels is Allen's communication. After dealing with 2 other builders first, the communication with Westbrooke was the defining measure. Another defining measure was the contract. I didn't want to sign until I had a contract attorney familiar with home building take a look after a bad experience with a different builder. The attorney told me that the Westbrooke Contract was a good contract to sign and looked after the interests of both the builder and the homeowner if things were to ever have to go to court.  We had the very best experience building with Westbrooke. Every idea we had Allen gave thoughtful consideration, and even when he knew it wasn't a good idea, he held our hand to show us how it could work or explained why it's not going to work. We trusted them to be the experts and their trust was well earned. Building a house is hard. We went through many ups and downs over a 3 year period. When we finally found Westbrooke, the process went smoother than we could have imagined. They were even able to get us into our home a month earlier than expected when we had lease issues where we were living. Quote received very quickly and we were able to get on the schedule fairly quickly. Price point felt fair for the work. All hard pins found but one that had likely been damaged or removed from old farming on the land. The survey map and pins helped to find the missing corner. Flags posted to identify the lines and highlight the new found corner. Turns out one neighbor had given us more ground than what was actually ours. Feel very confident now where the barn and other improvements can go.
