There definitely not giving it away at 18€ per kid (or 10 € if they're under 2), but for some time to chat and some kids that will sleep well, I'd probably pay double. They have an elaborate array of jungle themed, multi leveled play places throughout this place. It's hard to estimate just how big it is, but there's more here than most kids can get to in a day. Areas are grouped based on age, with some ranging from 0-4 with a parent, while others are 5 and up. There are tons of slides, stuff to climb up and on, trampolines and a couple area that require extra pay - one was a small go cart track. Food and beverage are available for purchase and while expensive, it's worth it to not have to leave. If you have kids, they'll love this place and aside from the price, you will too!

I took my kid here and she loved it. Hours of fun and outdoor exercise -- I think the entry fee is for three hours but that's really plenty. Strap on the harness, hook up to the zip lines and away you go! Friendly and attentive staff. Tips: They also accept Smartum vouchers for payment. Once you buy your ticket, which entitles you to 3 hours in the trees, you are given equipment and instruction on how to use it. After a supervised practice course, you're on your own. We arrived on a busy, sunny summer Saturday afternoon. Despite the crowds and occasional waits to get on a course, everything worked really well and our crew (2 adults, 3 kids aged 14, 13 and 11) all had a good time. The courses themselves are well-designed and each contain at least one zip-line, which seemed to be the highlight of each course. The park is well-designed, maintained, and organized - and offers people of all ages and normal body-types an enjoyable, safe experience in beautiful surroundings.

I order a slice of rhubarb pie with whipped cream. It's a really good piece of pie. They also sell a chocolate lava cake and an elegant tomato and spinach quiche. I ask the lady where they get their baked goods. She looks confused by my question. "We bake them. In the back," she says. "You make all this stuff?" I stammer. "From scratch?" "Yes," the lady says with a what's-the-big-deal kind of shrug. I want to tell her that I come from a country that dabbles in the black magic of eternal moistness, and that has figured out the science of making petroleum products taste like fresh strawberries. A country where a snack shop in a little out-of-the-way museum wouldn't bake its own baked goods. Instead, they'd come vacuum-sealed in little plastic baggies trucked in from a faraway industrial kitchen and they'd be stamped with expiration dates in the remote future. But I just say thanks, the pie is really good. On the way to the Toy Museum, S and I noticed a tunnel. We hadn't noticed it before because it's usually hidden behind an unremarkable garage door. But today, the door was open and we could see it: a one-lane paved road lit up by fluorescent lights that plunges into the bowels of the earth. I ask the lady at the Toy Museum about it. "Oh, that. I don't know the word in English." She goes in the back and confers with her colleague, who pulls out a little Finnish-English dictionary. "It's a shelter. You know, for when they drop the bombs." At first, I wonder if something is getting lost in translation. I mean, who would drop bombs on the Toy Museum? But it's a naive question. Finland may currently be peaceful and independent, but given the history of this country, there are no guarantees.

Fascinating way to learn loads of Finnish history. There's a very organized flow, distinctly divided between lodging and restaurants. Great artifacts including menus, uniforms, photos of the restaurant training schools, dishware. And for extra fun, a jukebox and a small karaoke machine with Finnish and U.S./British hits. English translations on all signs. THis is in the same complex as the Theatre Museum and the Photography Museum. I recommend getting a Museum Card (59 Euro, valid for one year) so that you can make separate trips to each museum and not feel pressured to pack too much into one day. Disappointment: no cafe or snacks.
