I liked that the staff in the back (who would be doing the haircut) was the one directly talking to us to get exactly what we wanted. She asked us the right questions, and in great detail. My partner and I had concerns about our dog's nails and they were able to clip them (which gave our little one great relief!). I was very happy with the service and we got exactly what we told her to do for our dog. Overall, it was a very good experience!

When I came in for my cats appt- there was no hello or smile it was just " whos this". Even though there is a chart right in their hands of previous appts- I still get asked what would you like today. So I said the same as last time. After some more rudeness I had drop my cat off and came back an hour later. The girl at the front asked me what I was there for. I was shocked that just an hour before that I had dropped my cat off to her. And after I said I just dropped him off - more attitude. A customer had come in when I was sitting there waiting- and she again gave attitude to another customer. The customer said " hello how are you" and right away the recptionist said " who's this" very rudely. I would be going to another place but unfortunately there are not many places around that will cut cats. I don't want to make them look bad but this has been happening many times now and I feel that if you are dealing with the public- a simple hello and or a smile would be nice. Especially for the price I pay for my cats hair to be cut. The employees that actually work- in the back- are great and keep up the excellent work!

Each visit we've seen three different doctors (ircc: Dr. Pedersen, Dr. Okaniwa, and Dr. Barr) and all of them have treated our dogs with care, gave us time to ask questions, and were happy to answer. They've done follow-up calls to check-up on our collie post-appointment, and medication refills were quick and easy. Of course, the reception staff were also friendly and knowledgable in giving us extra advice and scheduling needed follow-up appointments. I'd been abused, and later, after finally finding a safe home, someone broke in... and I was beaten again. I don't trust easily. I bark when I feel unsafe. I protect my space fiercely. I need distance from other dogs--not because I don't care, but because I care too deeply and don't know how to show it safely. But my human understood. They walk me on a 6' lead, often shortened to 2'. They sit on the ground beside me when I'm overwhelmed. They give me time, space, and safety to choose connection. That's how I learned how to say: "If I turn sideways and offer my shoulders or my butt... you can touch me." It's not much, but it's my way of saying "I trust you." And Justine listened. On October 4, 2023, Justine became my personal walker once a week. My human told her the truth--every challenge, every warning. She had every reason to walk away. But she didn't. She stayed. She followed my signals. She gave me 15 minutes. Now we do 30-minute walks once a week. She must really love me. Then, on January 2, 2024, I met Laura--and fate stepped in again. My only concern was that after she came back from this place my dog shed hair like crazy ! For 3 months she shed hair to the point that she got few bold spots here and there. I read in the internet that dogs go through this when they are subjected to stressful or traumatizing situations, the other only other thing I can think of is the quality of the products used on my dog..... Nothing out of the routine happened to my dog that I could blame for her losing her hair....... She was not taking medication and she was not sick..... Regardless of what it was, I am never taking my Puppy back there.
