Basing this off the hiring person vs the company itself. 1. Told I was desired highly for a job interview. Had to go through the temp agency first and do a phone interview with them. I was finally called 15 minutes past the due time of the interview. 2. During the phone interview, I was told I needed to bring in documents the following week (drivers license, etc) drove out to Eugene to find out those documents weren't required. The agent decided to change her mind and only requires the documents when I would get hired for the job. 3. Called to follow up on the job I was a candidate for. Made a call once a day Monday through Thursday. Left several messages with no calls back. Eventually found out I did not get the job (through a ziprecruiter notification) and received no call back from the temp agency explaining or a follow up. I haven't heard anything back from this hiring person in over a month. This is by far the worst customer service I have gotten from any temp hiring agency. Found a job I love doing outside of this agent that was supposed to assist. read more

Very difficult to get in touch with someone and they don't typically call back. The front desk should not be working in customer service, as they are rude and not helpful at all! They have no information or professionalism. Just overall lack of service. I would only go here if you have no other options, but there are many other great places to help you get hired!! read more

The company hires only people with high résumé or experience with jobs wise about employing anybody in the company, tries to tell you to put in the application, but never hears back been waiting five days now and they told me it will be less than a day. Definitely not helpful for you Eugene oregon. read more

I answered an ad on indeed. I was able to secure a job, however I was unaware that they are only a temp agency. Now my paycheck was due on Friday and it is now Tuesday and I still have not received my check.. I will not go through this agency ever again. read more

I contacted Express Employment Professionals earlier this year and I have to say DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!! Especially if you are looking for office work. The woman in charge of assisting with looking for office work, Samantha Willis, is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. I had to call the front desk and complain just to even setup an interview after sending multiple emails to her. After having the interview, she said she'd send an email with some potential jobs that were entry level within 1 week. That 1 week came and went and I heard absolutely nothing from her, so I emailed her to see what was going and nothing. I gave it another week and I emailed her again and still nothing. I finally gave up because I clearly was not going to receive any kind of help at all. read more

Please save yourself the time... This review for me is much overdue from November as it's been really hard for me to revisit my experience at Express. I had to wait an extra hour and half for my interview because Pat took someone who had an "emergency" after quitting their job over me, and I was there half an hour early. I was refused a restroom and had to wait over 4 hours to even be "allowed" to go. I was denied a restroom because "I wasn't recognized as an official employee" per their policy even though I was there getting an interview. She said the only place nearby she could think of I could go was the O'Reilly's down the road... yeah okay, no. I would be late by the time I got back. Even after I received paperwork for employment, was still made to wait another hour and reluctantly sent to the bathroom. I have a medical condition pertaining to my pelvic floor, and I barely made it in time. I ended up having an accident and had to clean my mess. I expressed to the receptionist I couldn't hold it and she told me she forgot I even asked. Pat criticized what I wrote on my forms, criticized my math skills and made me feel stupid, cut me off and acted very disinterested in anything I had to say, and even tried to place me in an interview with an office job after I specifically said I was not interested in office work nor was I equipped for it. I was very uncomfortable. I was doing skills tests on the computer for things I told her I didn't have much exp in, like Microsoft excel and emails ect. Again, after I told Pat I wasn't very experienced or comfortable with that work. At this point I have been in the facility for over 5 1/2 hours with no food or water. I didn't anticipate I would be there that long at all and began to have problems with my blood sugar. I was on the verge of passing out, and was not thinking clearly. I was having a hard time composing myself/ sitting up as this was causing me a ton of anxiety. I let the receptionist know I have hypoglycemia and that I was about to pass out when she came by my computer. She told me she was sorry and that I could come back another time. Like I said, I am about to pass out. My vision is blurred, I was very pale, I was confused, stressed, and just told her again hoping for help, that I was hypoglycemic and that I was about to pass out. She stood there awkwardly and did nothing. She walked away after apologizing. I gained whatever strength I had, told her I was having a medical problem and that I needed my medication/ needed to leave and that I was sorry. She just told me okay and to feel better. I don't remember driving home. I remember falling through my front door, and I remember my mom finding me. I remember my mom pouring juice into my mouth and me crying. After I came to, I was resting and my mom called their HR to complain when I told her what happened. HR woman was very very kind to us and very very angry about what happened. She told us it was unacceptable and that it is no where in their policy to refuse anyone the restroom. She was shocked that nobody did anything for me regarding my blood sugar as well even though I expressed this to the employees and that she would be having a lengthy chat with all of her staff. Pat tried to contact me a few days later. I did not call back. There is nothing left to say after the pain and complete embarrassment I was caused. Don't tell me to contact anyone. This place is awful, please go somewhere else. read more

I had an interview five days ago and haven't heard anything. I scored well above average on their clerical tests, and the results were sent to at least four people, yet no one has called. My interviewer acted like I wasted the precious twenty minutes he allotted me, and even though he asked me to email him a few things, he has yet to answer any of them. I've called twice and he won't return my calls. Furthermore, when I was waiting for my appointment, I had to sit there listening to one of the managers discussing her need of a "hot date" with the receptionist and see the look of disgust she had on her face every time she looked at me. Seriously, do NOT waste your time here if you need a job. This is the most unprofessional office I have ever seen. read more

Unfortunately, I can't forget this place. I finished filling out their initial application and took it to reception. A lady came to the counter about the same time as me. As she handed in her application, she told the receptionist she was out of time, had to go and could they please disregard her application. The receptionist picks up my application from the counter, along with the other ladies application and before I could say a word, begins to shred my application! What took me 15 minutes to complete was shredded in less than 15 seconds! I said, "You just shredded my application." She looked surprised, verified that the paper she was still holding wasn't mine and apologized profusely. My mistake was being stupid enough to sit down once again to refill their paperwork. Throughout my few interactions with their office staff, I also brushed off several snide remarks from the staff, which I will not get into details with here. I just know they were the opposite of helpful and I have never sought their help again. read more

I've had great experience with Express Pros. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first signed up with them since I had read some negative reviews, but my experience has been very positive. Jeanne Barnes has gone the extra mile trying to find professional jobs that meet my qualifications. They are very business at Express, so you have to be proactive and not just wait for the phone to ring because they have so many Temps looking for work in a very unstable market.
