Unfortunately, I couldn't answer at the time, but when I called him back, he didn't answer my first attempt. However, he did pick up when I called him back on the second number, and we had a conversation that lasted for about 9 minutes. During our conversation, Phillip shared that he had just been released from the hospital and was dealing with a terminal medical condition (notably one of his earlier excuses was he "just got back in town". While that may be true if he was visiting a hospital "out of town", I don't know how true his claim are). While I tried to be understanding and sympathetic towards his situation, I must admit that I had been waiting for updates for 21 days only to receive excuses. Phillip's revelation about his health condition came across as an unexpected reason, and I couldn't help but feel uncertain about the credibility of his claim, given my prior experiences and the other reviews I've come across. Phillip also claimed that as a business owner myself, I shouldn't leave negative reviews for other companies in the same industry. I disagree with this assertion, as I hired him for a service, and my review is based on my customer experience. Additionally, I took measures to maintain anonymity by blacking out any references to my company in the screenshots I provided. I asked Phillip to update me ASAP, but he continued to give excuses instead. It started to escalate, and I informed him that I would be recording the call, to which he responded indifferently, saying he didn't care. Phillip continued on to ask me if either I or someone in my family had been affected by his medical condition in which I responded someone in my family has. He then states would I talk to them in the way I was talking to him? I did not talk to him any kind of way outside of the way he talked to me and even still I kept my boundaries (as you will see below and in the audio he blew his top) From there, the situation took a turn for the worse, as Phillip resorted to using profane, obscene, and disrespectful language, including calling me names such as "pussy," "bitch ass pussy," "ingenious," "manipulator," "coward," and more. He even went so far as to threaten to sue me if I didn't remove this review in 24 hours. He eventually hung up in my face. Similar to many experiences of others, he begun to victimize himself as if he is the one that deserves all of the sympathy. While Phillip's situation is very unfortunate (if it's actually true) and I do wish his recovery, treating others in the disrespectful and degrading tone and demeanor that Phillip exhibited is unwarranted. Phillip alleged numerous times he "knows all about me" and "has people all over this country" (to be honest I'm not sure what this actually means and if this is a threat or not). Overall this guy has bad business practices and when he is called out on it, he will make excuse after excuse to justify the unjustifiable and victimize himself seeking understanding with something that simply doesn't compute. "The math isn't math-ing," as many would say these days. Be careful when working with this company! read more

I payed for 1 day services on November 3 when I contact Philip 2 weeks later for an update he became very irritate and began yelling at me on the phone. He had no idea about my case or what service I had payed for. Very unprofessional very rude. He is a scam artist don't lose your money like I did. read more

This business is a total con please dont waste your money or your time. He requires YOu to pay over zelle(or any other electronic funds)and does not follow up with you there after. First time I used this company to have someone served it was great. The second time around is a whole different story. It is taking nearly a week just to return papers to me. I keep getting pushed back and never told a time to pick up papers. I won't be using this company again. It is such a shame to because they were so great in the beginning. Be aware! read more

Unfortunately, I had to rate Philip Walker's service a one star when in actuality I wanted to give it zero stars. On February 11th I spoke with Philip on the phone about serving. He told me to email the paperwork and submit payment through Zelle. I paid for the 4-7 day service through Zelle and sent the paperwork to his email. I did not hear back from Philip that he got our paperwork/payment so on February 18th I emailed him to ask the status of the service. He never replied. On February 26th I called and talked to him and he could not give me the status on the service. He the asked me to text message him the information on the case and he would get back to me. He never did. On March 2nd I called him again to ask the status. This was now 12 business days and I still did not have the status of the 4-7 day service. On this day my husband talked to Philip and he told my husband that he found my email in his junk folder. Since Philip admitted that the service was never attempted and we now have to file for an extension on the case my husband asked Philip for a refund. Philip said he would return our money. Today is March 17th and we still do not have a refund on the service we paid for but never received. Philip Walker, you say here on Yelp that you will meet and/or exceed our needs but that's not been our experience. At this point you can meet our need by refunding our $78.75. read more

I wanted to give this guy zero stars! DO NOT USE THIS GUY! My company called him and gave him the case to serve and weeks later stated he served it. We kept calling for the affidavit and he started to get rude, and we said our client's case is coming up and he refused to send anything and admitted he didn't serve it! Phil was very diligent in finding the person I needed served after hiring him from outside of CA. Although it took several weeks to find the person, he consistently gave me updates along the way. I would highly recommend Phil and his company! read more

I read the prior reviews and this guy seemed like the right choice (the other online legal process service didn't have any reviews so I chose Express Legal Process Service). I gave Phil the suspect's home address, work address, work hours, suspects vehicle descriptions, photos and even told Phil what the suspect looks like. A few weeks later, I get a call from Phil stating he hasn't served the suspect. His story seemed to change and he couldn't answer my questions: Did you show up to suspect's work like you told me you would? How many times did you attempt to serve the suspect? My gut feeling told me that Phil scammed me just like the person I attempted to serve. Long story short, I chalked this up as a learning lesson and I hope to not to sue anybody in small claims court again. I hired Express Legal for a 3-day rush service because the party being served planned on being home. Note that I hired them on Tuesday, October 18th. He was very informative and seemed helpful and that he would get the job done. I emailed requesting a status on service that Friday and received no response. Mind you, when I initially emailed the documents, etc. communication was professional and he responded in a reasonable amount of time. I never received a response on Friday. Sunday, I emailed again requesting a status and a follow up on Monday since Sunday was not a buisness day. No response. Tuesday, another email requesting status, no response, and I called the numbers however they were off. Wednesday another email went out expressing my frustration that I had yet to receive a response and this is an important matter/documents. Today, 10/27/2022, I received a phone call from Phil Walker asking what the problem is. I politely began explaining that I paid and request for a 3-day rush service. Keep in mind that I was in contact with the party being served and they were just as confused as I was. He stopped me by raising his voice saying he didn't want to hear about what I paid for. I continued, leaving that part out. He continued to cut me off, began yelling as I kept trying to explain that I was frustrated with no responses and the failure to attempt service within the time requested. He began yelling that "I was unprofessional" when I mentioned it was unprofessional to speak to a client like this. He continued to yell at me, wouldn't let me speak, (his phone was cutting off at this point), but what I last heard was something about the "fucking hospital" and "doing my fucking job" and it went on. I am beside myself as to how a business can treat someone with such disrespect and rudeness. This is unbelievable. Did not have a good experience at all. Contacted and paid $70 to have other served. Did not hear anything back. I had to personally call and make sure that the service was going to happen. I ended up having to re do my paper work because papers were not served in time before court. Phill was very rude and not professional at all. When I called he had children yelling in the back ground. He kept saying that I was basicly dumb for not understanding him. I had to contact my other party to get the paper work from him because he was not serving. I also contacted a lawyer and legal aid for help because he was not helping at all. Then I asked for notorization once my other party personally came to get his papers and he wanted money out of me again for that. It was just really horrible he gave me anxiety really bad. Phil was able to serve the respondent within hours. The fee for this rush service was comparable to a regular service at a competitors in Bakersfield. Very affordable rates. He is extremely professional and 100% responsive; not a single call unanswered (and I called several times throughout the day). I would recommend and use ELS in a heartbeat. read more
