I went to Dr. Placer to consult on a procedure called Prolotherapy or PRP. They are similar but not the same. Essentially, it's non-surgical and very quick. Within 3 weeks, I was all set with the ability to throw a ball, swing a club and baseball bat. The doctor was GREAT. He was friendly, encouraged questions, never made me feel rushed, and did not insult me by telling me the internet was full of bogus information. He asked me to do my own research, then ask him questions based on what I read. Most doctors I've had are primadonnas who think the patient is an idiot and can't know anything because they did not go to medical school. Carlos Placer is NOT that way. My wife likes him because she thinks he's hot, so I guess has that going for him. The location can be tricky because traffic in that area can be total crap. Other than that, it's all good!! Pain free and able to play ball, non-surgically!

I am sick with multiple chronic life threatening health issues. I have been seen by her for a few…read moremonths then she just stops accepting me without any time to look elsewhere. She rudely tells me in person, wasting my time and hurting my feelings. Not even caring or pretending to care about how this may make me feel. She just straight up told me my insurance and visits are not worth her time & they don't pay her enough. Said I could continue to see her if I paid an additional $200. She not in this for helping her patients, it's clearly solely for the money. I don't recommend her for anyone who has feelings. She really hurt mine and had me leaving in tears with nowhere to go. Is Insurance Discrimination a thing? If so that's exactly how all this feels. She could have at least refilled my prescription 1 last time until I could find another doctor but since I couldn't cash out $200 I was sent on my way with a cold "Sorry" and "Good Luck" not once did she even look at me. This was my experience with her. It was nice until it wasn't.

I don't drive and I don't walk well and this is so close to me that I literally am there in five minutes in my electric scooter. I have suffered from multiple herniated discs, buldging discs, sciatica, misplaced hip, etc and have been to several chiropractors, back surgeons, Pain clinics etc, and hands down Dr Alberto is the best. He was hilariously funny, caring, personable, and really advocated for the best treatment for me. Having 3 small children it means the world to me and my family to be at my best, and now I can. My quality of life has improved amazingly, I can mop, clean not bend over in agony or worry about having to fall and sprain my ankle again due to my ankle losing mobility from prior nerve damage. I can take my kids to a theme park without being in agony trying to keep up my pace. Do yourself and your family, loved ones a favor, make a appointment with him and go see for yourself don't put it off,you only get one life and every moment matters!!! From the minute I scooter-ed into the office I felt welcomed. The office is in the converted house right off Orange Ave & Gore St. The office was easy to find. Hours are great. I got an appointment within two days of calling the office. Dr. Smith is a very personal doctor who listened to all on my concerns and took great care in handling them. Very comforting doctor. The staff is extremely polite and caring. I have been here at least 6 times now and have had excellent service each of the times. I have had 3 sets of shots in my spine for the pain syndrome I have. I have also had 3 follow up appointments to make sure everything was o.k. after the shots. I was taken in at my scheduled appointment time each time I have been there. Great place that sticks to their schedule. Every time I was having shots, (even after my first set) everything was explained to me step by step. I guess they thought I would forget. I was in and out with 35 minutes. I of course have a long way to go with my problem but feel well taken care of by Dr. Smith and his wonderful caring staff.
