Wow, it is now $20 to park here for 2-3 hours...on a regular weeknight...not event pricing! At…read morethe risk of showing my age, I remember when it was $3...back in the day when the mall was full and busy....now the mall is empty and parking has skyrocketed. The location is convenient for downtown dinners and events, but I'm going to be trying to find a meter or use a parking app to find and prepay a spot going forward. They have also removed the human employees from the exit so payment is only by credit card. There is a QR code on the entry ticket to pay, which made me think maybe Apple pay would work, but it just took me to a random looking website and wanted me to enter all my card information manually! No thanks...you can tap your card at the exit instead of doing that. They have also still not cleaned the stairs or painted the railings etc....I am hoping that the rumored mall redevelopment will include some love for the parking garages and perhaps a reduction in price to entice more people to come downtown and patronize the businesses here.

A super reasonably priced parking lot in the middle of the downtown city center. Whodathunk? Not…read moreChicago, that's for sure. I had to do a double take when I saw the prices to park here per hour. They were basically a joke... and I'm thankful for it. I've only spent about 18 hours in Indianapolis, but so far I love it. Spread out, pretty much no traffic, clean, and affordable parking as far as the eye can see. Take notes, Chicago. Parking here for 8 hours ran me $15 -- a virtual steal. And parking here for 12-24 hours is $15. I can't even look at parking garage in Chicago without being at least $36 poorer. This garage was also never crowded, I could park on the first level available to the public, right by the elevators and stairs and the woman at the exit was really nice. I especially loved that the pathways and routes through the garage are extra wide and one-way, so the chance of a collision happening is minimal. I'd consider coming to Indy just park here. ...okay, maybe not quite, but if you're in the area it's a really nice option.

My husband and I always park here when we go to an Indians game and usually pay for event parking,…read morebut the last time we were here they didn't have anyone at the entrance doing that. We parked here at the end of August when we went to the TJ McConnell Night at the Indians game and had a terrible experience with the staff. When we went to leave the garage we paid with a card and it told us the payment was accepted and to have a good night. However, the gate never opened up for us to leave. We pressed the help button between 2-3 times trying to get staff to assist us, only for them to say they would be right out and hang up. Spoiler: they never came out! We then waited and waited after we saw the employee who was working in the office right next to the exit walk out to her car, sit in it for several minutes, and then pull out of her parking spot to leave. After that, no one would answer the phone in the office because no one else was in there at all. There was a line behind us at this point and no one could go anywhere. It had been over ten minutes from us first trying to get assistance to open the gate before a man who had been walking from another part of the garage came over and saw the line and then opened the gate for us. 100% would not recommend this garage.

A very official and well-documented 'way', in fact. It's because of that big book of records that I'm able to be announce with such great excitement that I think I may have either just broken and/or be on the verge of breaking the record for world's most boring string of reviews. Parking Garage Parking Garage Truckstop Starbucks Parking Garage... This is one glamorous life, Folks. And I could go on... Now, even though the venue itself may be a little dull, the content of this review could actually be ultra useful. At least for people like me, who aren't really familiar with the area. There's a big city park like this by where I'm from too. It's called Grant Park and it's located in Chicago. It also has a parking garage underneath it... only ours is kinda scary, dingy, and is horrifically priced. 100 minutes of parking under Chicago's Grant Park will run you $31. At White River State Park Parking Garage, up to 3 hours of parking is only $3. THREE.FREAKING.DOLLARS. For a fast-walker with a generally mediocre life like me, it was the equivalent of hitting the jackpot. I was able to see the Native American Art Museum in it's entirety, tour the state park, do the canal/river walk, get some general sightseeing in, check-out all the cool outdoor sculptures, and just take a time-out from what my day would have otherwise been (letting my work laptop burn through the flesh on my thighs... which I actually don't mind). It was a pretty nice little day and only made better by the fact that I could do all that for only $3, without having to worry about the safety of my car or feeding a meter every 2 hours.

I had to add this garage to Yelp because it isn't listed. The only reason to park here is if you're…read moregoing to an event at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. It's close to there for a moderate price. In my opinion... still not worth it. The listed prices are wrong. It's something like 3-4 dollars for the first 3 hours. Then it goes to 7 dollars for 5-9 hours and so on. The max is supposed to be 24 dollars a day. On a recent trip to Bankers Life I decided to give this garage a chance. Parking for 4 hours ended up being 15 dollars. Not outrageous but it's not what the posted signs said and there weren't any event parking rates posted. I'm used to the headache of not making it out of a venue area. You have to be patient. I understand that. For this garage, there are two levels. The first level was full which I'm sure is usual. In that case, you have to go to level two. Instead of going up, you make your way down. There's one way in and one way out which is a complete mess. The way this garage is setup is bizarre. It's not in a square, circle, or anything. I guess you could say it's a rectangle but there are small squares that branch off of the main rectangle causing crazy confusion. I had to drive around the thing two or three times just to find the pathway to the next level. The level I ended up parking on was the same. Bizarre. Leaving was a headache too. You have at least 8 different intersections on each level. 4 car lines at each intersection with everyone thinking it's their turn to go next. If I ever go to an event at Bankers Life FieldHouse again, this garage will be the last place I park. The issues didn't stop when finally getting out of the garage. There are loads of people and cars to navigate around the streets in the area. This garage is a catch-all for the mall and surrounding businesses. There are so many businesses in that area that I'm sure it's always packed. If you're going somewhere in the area, I'd double-check to see if there are any events going on nearby. If there are, check the start/end times and plan accordingly. If you're going to one of those events, plan to stay at one of the many businesses/bars in the area for a while after your event.
