This store has all the level of discount that you would expect from an outlet store, normally around 25-50% off the rrp. Most of the time there's also a rack of sale items too, and if you have the patience to wade through a vast array of lemon, turquoise and pink garments, which I'm not sure who buys, you can find a genuine bargain. They have Guinness and Rugby Union Premiership branded items too.

There are clothes to meet every budget, from makes like Berghaus. The other main focus of this shop are the rucksacks from small fashion items, to day sacks and rucksacks for serious hikers. Again well known makes are prevalent like Karrimor. There are the occasional selection of other items like lightweight camping chairs, LED torches etc. Friendly and helpful staff too, who offer good advice.

However, their formal shirts are of excellent quality, comfortable and smart looking, I regularly buy them for work. The rest of the store is punctuated with the occasional DVD and CDs ranges, as well as items like shortbread, blankets etc. The staff are always helpful and friendly, theres always a sale on, but for me this is a place where I only ever buy one type of item.

Nevertheless, it has a massive range of different shoes, which fluctuate depending on the season, lots of boots in the winter, whereas in the summer, more sandals and formal wear. Conveniently ordered by size, shoes are fairly easy to find, with the more seasonal shoes and boots being at the front of the shop. As well as having their own impressive range of shoes, there are also a huge range of top shoe brands like CAT, Loretta etc. On the whole a good store, a wide range of footwear and shoe care products, with friendly and helpful staff. Some of the strongest 'bags for life' you will buy as well!

I don't know why, but someone at Evans has decided that they want to sell the same clothes as the likes of TopShop but in bigger sizes. Therefore whenever there's a sale, you find rails full of low cut tops, miniskirts, low-rise jeans and all the other things that fat women just shouldn't wear (in my opinion of course!). They do have some nice classic stuff too, but it can be greatly overpriced.

They sell high quality shoes such as Nike and Caterpillar. There is a huge (and quite cheap) selection of shoes and bags throughout the store and the shoes are set out into specific sections: women's, men's and children's. The variety in this shop is brilliant and i have never seen this brand of store anywhere else. The shoes which are usually branded with big names, copies of branded shoes at cheap prices or essentials are more than fairly priced and the quality is pretty good. It can be quite difficult to reach a pair of shoes if they are on the top shelf for example and you have to ask a member of staff to help you. The staff are really nice and helpful and all seem to be women. They also like a chat too. If you're looking for some cheap shoes or any shoes in general, i recommend looking in here, you will more than likely find something appealing to you.
